I have live in Dripping Springs for 30 plus years. The rural mail servis has been good to great and I know rural delivery is not easy. When Sandy was carrying our mail we had great service and the quality of her service was excellent. Lately, well do we still have a delivery person? We get the mail late at night, there are many wrong address lettesd and such in the box and mailed advertisements are showing up in 6 or seven copies in one box. The older man who I see at times is about as concerned as the grade school kids about his job. Sandra was not only dependable, she cared about her customers. We all need this corrected asap. Ken Orr, Bending Oak Drive and other mail customers.

I wanted to shout out a Thank you to Sabrina at the Dripping Springs Post Office. She was helpful when I called in today with questions as a custom home builder for our new homeowners. I really appreciated it as I've had the complete opposite experience with many other post offices.

Delivery person threw a package marked FRAGILE sent to my sister off the truck (witnessed by my sister) and the contents were shattered. The contents are not replaceable. I can’t connect with your office or the 800 number because you don’t answer and the 800 number is an endless loop of BS. Incredibly poor service, won’t use USPS again to deliver packages safely.

I live @ 23800 Hamilton Pool Rd unit 2 I received a notice on a package I was tracking it was delivered Friday @ 10:38 EST and it was not delivered to my address because I have been to my box 3 times and since I get other peoples mail I can only imagine where he delivered my package but if the carrier cannot find it and get it to me he is going to come up with the $$$ it cost me.. WE are tired of this terrible service and I am sick of coming to the Post Office to complain when obvious the person in charge does nothing to rectify the problems!!! If you cannot or will not fix this then maybe I need to go over your head and find someone who will. Very unhappy with this situation ?

My packages say “Available for pickup,” I go there, and it’s NOT ready. Extremely inconvenient when I work during their open hours and came on my break. They had me write down all this information and still didn’t bother to look for it.

I would like to say Thank You to Debbie, an employee at the DS Post Office. She helped me locate a delayed delivery medical package. She was very considerate of my circumstances and went above and beyond her duties to help me. You are lucky to have her as an employee. Thank you Debbie, I really appreciate your service to our community

I keep receiving package delivered notifications yet I am not receiving my packages or I have to go and track them down. I do not understand how this can happen so frequently. I will be following up with an official complaint, not sure if that will do anything either

Worst service ever. They say the deliver packages and mark them as delivered on the tracking number but don't deliver them until the next day or two. The postmaster at this location is rude and refuses to help with problems and won't even listen to you or let you talk. I can't use these people anymore but I am forced to. Total waste of time dealing with these people!

I recently put in a forwarding address from Dripping Springs to Mason Tennessee and have been receiving mail, however one of my very important packages was forwarded to Florida!! How is that possible? I have a tracking number and called the post office and the supervisor could not give me a reason as to how that happened. She couldn't guarantee they could get it back. I am out 150.00 because of their error!!!! This is unacceptable!

We have had continuous issues with mail/packages being delivered from the Dripping Springs post office. I had a shipment sent to me from Canada that was never received. I'm not sure where it disappeared to but USPS claims it was delivered to my address. Then today, I get a message from Amazon stating that two packages couldn't be delivered from USPS. I checked the tracking and it said there was no where to securely leave the packages. We have a huge covered front porch so there was plenty of secure space to leave it. Never had this issue with UPS or FedEx. So frustrated. Issue is it is a rural carrier that is a contractor and they just don't seem to care. It's raining so likely he just didn't want to get out of his car and put the packages on my porch. So tired of it.

I just had a discussion with one of the managers at dripping springs office. They sent a package back to the sender without attempting delivery just by looking at the address. The address was 100% correct and only 2 miles from the Dripping springs post office but the carrier said they only delivered to suites 1-5 and not 6 and 7. We are suite 7. Instead of loading the package and making an attempt to deliver (which would have been successful) they turned it around and sent it back within 1 hr of receiving it. I found out later the same day from amazon tracking but it was too late the package was on its way back. This is not the first time I have seen just plain lazy attitude over there. They continue to fall way below expectations and getting worse. They just made more work for themselves and everybody else because they were too lazy to go down the road 2 miles to deliver a package to a clearly marked and legitimate location that has been there for years. WIll use Fedex/UPS whenever possible.
