I haven't done this because I was, still am in shock & grieving my best friend. You see on Feb.17 2023 my world as I knew it ended.I was sitting on my steps talking to a neighbor and my outside dog was trotting towards the road I could tell he heard the mail coming I yelled at him & I had my eye on my 4lb.15 yr.old(soon to be 16 in March) tiny baby girl Yorkie Chloe.my neighbor was showing me pictures on their phone so my eyes left her. Then here comes the mail now I admit my big dog does try to chase anyone that touches his mailbox out of here & our traffic consists of us & the mail people, that's it.My neighbor leaves & I tell them watch for Chloe her hearing & eyesight is getting worse so they go the opposite way of the mail.I had been calling my tiny girl for 10-15 mins.well then when the neighbor left I panicked she should have come to me by now I'm on a walker so I had to get my walker & walk all the way to the road I kept telling myself shes ok u might have to walk far maybe she lost her way.as I approached the road what I thought was 3 rocks the size of oranges one BLK one golden blonde one more BLK.Turned out to be my best friend & my 3 yr old grand daughters BF as well ( luckily she wasn't here) I screened as loud as I think I ever have I was crying & screening so loud my other neighbors were building something & they'd stop & listen they're about a 1/8 of a mile from here.Needless to say when I die they can say I died of a broken heart I've had dogs for 50 yrs & this is the hardest one I've ever experienced oh did I mention she was my sister's who passed away in 2011,who lived in Cal.so she had a traumatic life until she got to me.My point being on all this is....I know y'all mail carriers have a hard job, with time limits ,& making sure u have the right mail for the right house ect. Just please please watch for people's human babies,& fur babies please please I would give everything I've got just to have her back ANYTHING!! I LOVED THIS DOG WITH ALL THAT'S IN ME,!! PLEASE STOP - TELL THE OWNER at LEAST YOUR SORRY SOMETHING DONT JUST DRIVE OFF!!!
