We frequently do not receive packages that USPS says were delivered. When I call the local office, all of a sudden they remember that package was mis-delivered and they know exactly who and where it was delivered to. Then I received it the next day. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe someone didn't feel like delivering it as it was getting late and they wanted to go home. Or maybe they wanted to see what was in it and if anyone would complain. Who knows? It has happens with letters on Informed delivery also. But I hardly ever see those turn up in my mailbox again. This happens 2-4 times a month on average. Any place else I have lived this would be cause for dismissal. Here it is life as usual.

I have repeatedly ask my mail carrier to close my box door as my mail gets wet when it rains. Came home one afternoon and mail was on the ground because door was left open. This past Saturday, I put a parcel in my box at 8am and raised the red flag. Mail carrier put mail IN my box but did not get the parcel out and left the flag up. I am sick of this person, they need to be fired. I live in Deadwood.

Had an email from Amazon saying my package could not be delivered because the USPS carrier could not get to the mailbox. I watched them come around the corner and keep driving by. They never tried to stop and there was never anything blocking the mailbox.

My mailbox was broken by somebody and then they pulled it out of the ground. I called the Carthage post office and told them that I had put the top half back in the ground until I could get it fixed. They said as long as there was a box they could deliver the mail. I got home from work today to find a stupid little stickey note on my mail saying they're going to hold my mail and not deliver it. When I called up there now their story has changed. Apparently they're not going to be helpful at all during this stressful time. They said they are not required to get out of the car and put my mail in the box. That's fine and all but you could at least be a decent human being and help someone out when something like this happens. Extremely unprofessional!!!! Especially their sticky note!!!!! Why have a job like that if you're not going to help people?!

Because they are all lazy and don't care anything about you. I've had bad experiences in other cities, but the Carthage people are morons, and on top of that they are rude when you try to get them to help.

They are very unprofessional. The front desk clerk has a very bad attitude, and doesn't like to help anyone. I will never do business with them again.
