How hard is it? I often put out mail to be picked up and the mail carrier just shoves mail in on top and doesn’t pick up the outgoing mail. If anything comes certified that is a infuriating process, I sign the card and leave in the mailbox and again mail is placed in on top and the card not picked up. These days it seems it is not even possible to strive for mediocrity.

We have a front entrance with a nice sidewalk. The postal person keeps leaving g packages in our alley by garage door. If we do g happen to go out there, we do not know it’s there. Help. Fro t entrance please. 2416 Romelle Street, Aledo 76008

For the past year and longer, whenever the post man/woman delivers the daily mail in Annetta South, the mail box door is never closed shut and is open after all daily deliveries. It will shut close if the delivery person pushes it close. Unfortunately, this is not happening and the end result is that my mail is exposed to rain when we have rain or storms. What would it take to ask the delivery person to simply shut the door on the box? If I modify my mailbox with a spring to keep the door close, will this create another problem when the mail is delivered? As I drive around Creek Wood drive, Aledo,Tx 76008, I notice there are a number of mailbox doors left open with mail exposed. Would a picture of the delivery person failing to close these doors help? Perhaps another to show the mailbox door will function and close to prove its not inoperable.

Why is the post office closed at 4:30? Do they set their own hours? A normal business works 8-5, or usually longer, not shorter time!

I know it’s raining, but why did you wrap my package in a trash bag and put it in my ditch next to my mailbox on a busy road. I thankful no one stopped and stole it or it rained harder to sweep it away. Why not just put it on our porch?

We have complained before about not receivng our mail, now the mail we put out to pay bills is not being delivered. My two neighbors are also experiencing delivery problems. If this continues I will seek help at a higher level. Seems like our postal service is going down hill.

We always get mail for other people which I then take to the post office and complain. This not occasionally this is everyday. We are to get checks from another state and it takes 10-15 days to get them but when I get something from my mom in the same state I get it in 3 days. We always have random people delivering our mail and it takes them 30 seconds to put it in the lock box. Next time I’m taking my complaints higher up. Get it together Aledo!

I am over the delivery people. My mail ends up in up to 5 different peoples boxes to include my medications from the VA. I also get all of my neighbors, 2 times now I have had $250-3,000 usd worth of stuff left in the big box ...unlocked. If I hadn’t followed up online to see it saying delivery I might have lost those. Now I also get undeliverable to address. Why is an address that is mailed to for almost 2 years undeliverable? Maybe time to put someone else on routes who every is the route people for us are horrible. You go in person to the office and those front girls are amazing..... balance it out postmaster of Aledo.

Service is getting worse. They delivered my package to some one else, again. I got some one else's mail again today. This happens almost every month, and I don't expect my packages to be delivered correctly any more.

Very disappointed in mail delivery in Aledo. I have not received any of my own mail in over a month, but get everybody else's. Pretty sad that the mail carriers do not take pride in their jobs.
