The one thing that made me give 2 stars, is our mail driver drives across our lawn if our vehicle is in OUR DRIVE WAY! We have a half moon driveway, and sometimes we have to park in front of the house, which blocks the drive. So our mail drive pulls in, drops off packages, then drives across the LAWN to the other side of the drive, and pulls out. Yes, at times we have a busy main road, in the country. But if UPS and FedEx can back/pull in, and back out, our mail carrier can too! Just because you have a 4x4 does NOT give you permission to drive on our grass! LEARN how to BACK OUT!

I really think the folks at the Greeneville post office to a great job. Everyone I have dealt with has been very nice, and fast. The volume of packages they deal with daily is enormous and since the first of the year they are reaching the destination really fast. BUT, It’s the people who make the visit enjoyable..Thanks for all you do.

Since I don't see an e-mail, and I have to wait a freaking hour before I can even talk to a human being on the phone, I have this to say. For the love of freaking God, Greeneville, Tn. post office quit putting my friggin mail in the wrong box. My stuff has been accidentally opened before. Hell, people don't think sometimes and don't pay attention to the name they just open it up because they assume the delivery person can freaking read the name and home number and address on the mail and/or package, and the number on the friggin box. I am expecting an important letter and for the love of God do not put it in the wrong mail box because my neighbor is coming to get their mail and leaving to go back to Kentucky. If my mail gets taken to Kentucky because the illiterate, careless idiot put my mail in their mail box I am going to freak the freak out.

I just received an important tax document from social security that was opened by somebody and then taped shut with a hand written message that says "opened by mistake put in the wrong box". This document has my social security number as well as my name and address and sensitive income information on it. Now my identity has been totally compromised and I have to be very worried about identity theft. I called the post office and they didn't care in the least. I was told "sorry, that happens some times". I've been receiving mail for almost 60 years and this has never happened to me. I am very offended by the postal worker's attitude. I know that there is no recourse for me in this situation and I can't change what happened or my name and ss# in order to not get hacked but I just wanted to let people know to beware. For all I know it could be somebody at the post office collecting information to siphon money off of the public. It just sucks to be in this state of helplessness.
