I currently work for a nice company as an assistant. I happily obliged when they asked me to mail some orders to our clients. I knew little to nothing about shipping; therefore, I called to get a quote. Once I called and got one, I looked online to see other options. I then called again for a quote on another option that I saw. I ended up practically getting yelled at on the phone by this company. He told me, "You know. You just need to come in here and look at some boxes! I would have to type in every zip code you have to see the price for another box." I told him I would if I could, I didn't even have the items I needed to ship; therefore I gave him the poundage. His tone and actions felt made me feel like I was a burden to his time even when our company would give him a high dollar service. I felt completely disrespected. I kept my calm, yet he still insisted with his tone. I would never act that way to a customer no matter the difficulty. I didn't realize getting a quote for a box was so difficult for one person to handle.
