I received an e-mail that my mail was returned to the bank with the wrong address?????? After talking with the bank the address was correct and the mailman had delivered it to the wrong address. I called the post office back and the guy consistently argued with me and blamed the bank!!!!!!! This isn't the first time my mail had been delivered to the wrong lot number!!!!! How hard is it to deliver mail correctly!!!!!! I will file a complaint against the man at the post office for his rudeness and the person delivering the mail! Enough already!


My mail has been coming a day to two days later than normal. Is there a reason for this?


Wow, just "spoke" with the post master about a supposed undeliverable package that I received text based tracking updates on. After arguing that I got the texts from the sender and not the USPS he became combative and raised his voice yelling that my address was not on the package. He couldn't answer my question about the package and eventually admitted he didn't have the package but that he'd look for it. After about 10 seconds on hold he disconnected the call. Pathetic!


Hello, I live in Golden Acres at 1010 East St. Patrick Street. My mailman continuously drives on my lawn when he delivers my mail. I took pictures of his tire tracks, on my lawn, and showed them to a supervisor at the Rapid City Post office. I have also asked the driver several times not to drive on my lawn, but he continues to do so. I feel I have taken the steps necessary to stop him from doing this, but to no avail.


So if our comments not read by postal employees what is the point of leaving comments? I moved into a new built house a few months ago. I put up a temp mailbox (til warm enough to dig a hole) a few weeks ago. I've had my flag up since Fri, here it is Tues & my change of address card is still there. Who ever delivers my mail stops at the house catty corner down the street from my house. I'm taking it to work to mail...and calling the PO.

We get our mail very late. Today received mail at 510. Any way we can get better service? Ever since regular mailman retired this past summer we get mail at end of day. Can anyone look into this?

Seriously the worst! I ordered my package a week ago and I needed it by this weekend and the person who was delivering it didn't even come to my door step to drop it off just realized my package was to big for my mail box (I mean obviously) and just gave me a pink slip! Like common now!!! 😡 Not satisfied at all!!


The Post Office in Rapid City is the absolute worst! It's been 3 days now since I've tried to send out mail from my mail box located out front of my house. When I called to discuss the problem with the post office, they told me that my mother-n-law's car is probably parked to close to the mail box! They said i should move the car, or bring in the parcels! WTF?! Are you telling me that the mail carrier can't get their Lazy Arse out of their car and take two steps to pick up and drop off mail to my mail box! I'll take my mail somewhere to ship alright.... Not to USPS!!


Horrible, we are business and I order parts online. I don't know how they will get shipped and a lot of times they come most of the way from one shipper then dropped off to the Post Office. We do not get mail at our building but I was told if I put our street address on the first line and PO box on the 2nd line that it will for sure get to us if it gets switched over to USPS. Doesn't happen, I've had multiple packages sent back in the past, 3 this week, and they send them back after the first day trying to deliver so I have no chance of trying to pick them up. No wonder USPS is broke, I will start paying extra in shipping to gurantee that it won't go through USPS.
