We moved from Gaston to West Cola on Oct had no issues with out mail before we moved and now its a nuisance that our mail isnt getting forwarded to your new address. Informed delivery shows mail being still sent to old address yet the post office claims I didn't do my part. I did and it was confirmed. Now a package was showing delivered there of which I did not send there and now no one will respond to me. Poor customer service here.
Hi my name is Nicholas, Iam writing this due to the many complaints my neighbors and I have with getting made to have mailboxes moved to end of road when our road is very accesssible to drop off mail in front of houses. Have had multiple packages and pieces of mail stolen, mailboxes are always left open by the delivery driver. It’s getting out of hand and beginning to be too much.
my address has changed but my son is still at that address i have 2 pkg that the seller has messeged me that they have been delivered it says it was delivered at or in box please check and see if i have any pkgs. there thank you so much mattie hall
I am tired of getting mail in my mailbox for people who do not live at my address and for people who per my landlord has never lived at my address. I have already contacted this post office over the last several years I have lived here and the only thing I can do is "Return to Sender" and "Does not live here".
I usually put the return to sender mail in the a blue box for returns but this past week I sent it back in my own mailbox because there were also several parcels of mail for my neighbors as well also in MY mailbox. This is not new and has become a recurring issue. I am not and will no longer be responsible for my neighbors mail going to the correct mail box.
Obviously, my mail courier didnt take a liking to me putting their mistake out there for my neighbors to see on their mail by returning to sender that person didnt live at my address although it was next door because the courier is lazy and/or doesnt pay attention to detail and decided to write on my mail the following day.
I will be sending a copy of this to the Gaston post office Supervisory Management.
I agree .... the post office itself is awesome. Never have any problems. Its my mail carrier is ridiculous I'm the 1st house on the left on a dirt road and she refused to come drop off a package UPS and FEDEX do it all the time.
The actual post office is pretty good but whomever the Carrier is for Gaston's Heather Hill subdivision needs training, my items were taken back to the post office because the carrier claimed they had has no access to deliver which is a whole lie. My mail box is big and the items from Victoria's secret could fit in there like always. My items have been at the Gaston post office 2 days before they ever attempted delivery. For the record, I'm not a basher of the Postal service because I'm a postal employee of 25 years and counting.
