The employee who services customers at the window is rude and disrespectful-I have given her a pass several times but she is not suited for customer service. Put her in the back sorting mail where her sharp tongue won’t offend anyone who is simply trying to conduct business. That or get rid of her altogether.

I had a package go missing from my mailbox over a week ago. It was marked as delivered to the mailbox but was not there when I went to get it. I have tried every single day, multiple times a day to get through via phone. I work during the week so it's hard to get in there in person before they close. Its nearly impossible to reach them via phone. There is no way to leave a message, there are no options the phone just hangs up on you. So frustrating! I still do not have my package or any answers.

I had a note in my mailbox that I have a letter I need to sign for. The date provided for attempted delivery was during the week and I work from home so am home all day. No one attempted to deliver something to me. I tried to call SAINT ANDREWS POST OFFICE 78 Sycamore Ave, Charleston, SC 29407 due to the automation system not being able to look up my tracking number. The tracking number is an international one and the number on the ticket in my mailbox did not pull up anything. I called for over an hour. The phone would ring for a few minutes then go to a busy signal. I understand you are probably understaffed and overwhelmed. Even with that, I still need to have my call answered.

I went into the post office and there was one person in front of me. I had a package to mail with a prepaid label so I just wanted to drop it off. So first the woman at the window said you'll have to wait I'm counting money. So I waited a few minutes for that then she came around to the opening where I had the package and she said well you need to put that label on yourself. So then I did that then I said well how do I get a receipt she said you go out in the lobby and you scan it so then I did that and I came back with the package I said here's the box she said oh no go out in the kiosk and put it through the big silver window. So I went out and the package didn't fit then I had to come back in again and ask another woman can I just leave the package here. The woman at the window today at 4:40 gives no service, once other people to do her job. All she had to do was take the package and she was too lazy to do it and made a customer go in an out of the line 3 times. This is unacceptable behavior by a black woman who feels entitled to have other people do her job for her. She should've taken it offered to just tape the label on like everybody else does and take the box in the back but no she tried to make me do everything for her. Who trained these people to be so obnoxious and narcissistic instead of giving Customer Service. That's what they're here being paid for isn't it?

I got a notification from Amazon after my other packages were delivered that one of my packages was available for pick up at the 29407 zip code post office. When I asked Alice for help she was extremely dismissive and said because I did not wait for a slip from the carrier she cant help me. I explained that I did not get a slip with my packages and that this is the second day. She would not run my tracking number or my name and told me to go home and wait. She asked if I would like a supervisor and i said yes. After 20mins of waiting to be acknowledged I asked for an update and she rudely told me to wait at the end of the counter. Supervisors name is Barry, never got to meet him, and the rude individual working the window was Alice. I am absolutely disgusted at the lack of customer service at this location and absence of management. This happened on Friday March 19th at about 11am.

I don't know if you have read any of the comments on West Ashley neighborhood web page - - however, there are over 100 unhappy patrons of your post office - - mostly about the 2 women serving on the front line. Can anything be done? I know you can't fire them, but perhaps relocate them to another division - - sorting mail, or something which does not involve working with people. They are so very rude and this is not the way West Ashley should be represented!

Nothing has changed much but she has calmed down to some degree. If you are pleasant and act as if you don’t know what you need she will go out her way to assist. If you try to tell her about her self or job then she gets an attitude. Folks she is there for a check besides if you make an issue on the number on the bottom of your receipt things do get done quicker. Good luck remember you can always go to the guy he is pleasant and funny.

I cannot believe that the employee, Alice, is allowed to be so rude to customers. She is rude to me everytime I go to that post office. My priority box would not fit in the bin and she acted like I was inconvenincing her by asking her to take my package. I have heard her be rude to others while I was waiting in line. How can someone so rude be allowed to work with the public? I taught school for 34 years and if I talked to parents like that I would have been reprimanded.

As stated in other reviews, Alice, the black female postal worker at the register near the left wall, is the rudest postal employee I have ever come in contact with. She made 3 snide comments to me in the time it took to drop one package and purchase 2 books of stamps. It seems to be an ongoing issue that isn't being addressed?

Today was my second visit to your Post Office in 2 weeks and witnessed your counter employees being rude to customers I entered your post office today at 0900 to return a pair of shoes. I was second person in line at opening. The Black female worker at the counter ignored us and made us wait and extra 2 or 3 minutes before asking a customer to approach the counter I did not get her name but she is a black female who works the counter by the wall that is always rude to customers. Maybe CLerk #4. When it was my turn I approach the counter asked her if it matter where I put my return label, she directed me to lose my spot in line and place the label on the box somewhere else, with an attitude. It literally took 5 seconds to place a label on the box and hand it to this rude worker. When I went back in today to complain to you , she was actually running another person who needed help with her box. On 12/16/2016 the black female sitting in the same spot was rude to a young white female (in line front of me) The girl simple asked her a question, needed tape, the rude worker snapped at her a told her to get out of line a tape your box.. If you have a person who has a problem being nice to people, maybe they should work in the back, where they can deal only with boxes.

This Post Office is on my way home from work so I often need to stop here. The staff at the counter in this Post Office is often rude and inefficient. Today as I exited the Post Office, there were 3 people in the parking lot commenting on the rudeness of the employees at the counter.
