Verrie Un-appy No mailbox keys since October 2023. We purchased a new home in Aiken last year in September. At closing we received mailbox keys. When we tried to used the keys, they did not work. I called the postoffice and was told that this had happened to several new homes in the area. I was told to bring the keys and they would take care of it. My husband took the keys to the postoffice. 2 weeks later he went by to get the new keys. The postal clerk was very abrasive and rude. He would not listen to my husband and demanded that "if you want New keys you will have to PAY for them, that's the policy" He would not listen to "the house is new as in just built" He stated that my husband should PAY for the keys!. I went to the post office a week after that. This time a female employee told me I would have to go to my real estate person. Then she asked, "What's the address and name?". She said "Oh! Those keys have been here for a while. There is a number on them, we'll call you and you can check back on the status" Ok, so new homeowners are responsible for keys that either were cut wrong or mixed up keys were distributed? Can somebody tell me how any of that makes sense? USPS owns the mailbox, USPS cuts the keys, but it's our fault so we should pay right! Is this a USA GOVERNMENT? I give this -2stars, one for each misinformed person. 2024, January, still no keys.

The carriers will lie and say they can’t access your driveway, or lie and say your delivery was attempted at 4:45pm when you saw them deliver a small item into the box at 1:44pm. I have screenshots. Forget getting a package on the weekend if they have to be troubled to get out of the truck. Once, they also lied and said my package had been picked up at the counter (it was not). They said someone must’ve had my ID. No one does. The package came the next day. THEY LIE AND ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL! Also, you can’t get anyone on the phone during business hours.

I tried to call the branch office and the phone just kept ringing until I got a busy signal. I had a package from Amazon placed in my box and I can not get it out. The lip on my side of the mail station is smaller and will not allow me to get the package out. I was trying to call the branch to see if someone could put it in one of the keyed boxes so I could access it. If no one is going to answer the phone, please tell the public so they can fingure out another way. I guess I will have to wait tomorrow for the mail carrier to come and have them get it out for me. Not good customer service.

No one answers the phone. It rings and rings until I get a busy signal. I was calling about a scheduled package pick-up that was not picked up.

No one is answering my call. I have been trying to call all day to stop a delivery. I don’t understand why we have a package out for delivery when we currently have our mail on hold because we are out of town. I do not want the package delivered when we are not at home.

I have had outgoing mail in my box with red flag up for over a week and they keep putting mail in and not taking business mail that should have been gone by now causing a late fee. This is not expectable.

It has now been 32 days since my package was “out for delivery “. It has been 31 days since I received an alert that my package had not been scanned as delivered. Despite filing complaints 5 different days and making multiple trips to the post office with tracking info in hand no one is able to provide any answers I don’t know what is going on at Summerall post office on silverbluff road in Aiken SC, but I feel I am being lied to. I just want someone to give me An answer on how a package goes out for delivery and then Just disappears. Now when I enter the tracking number with USPS it tells me this package is outdated. No shit!! Delivery of the package is outdated,

I have been trying to call for days and no one will pick up the phone. I really need to get a package redirected as I am an hour and a half away! This is frustrating. Why is no one picking up the phone?

The back of our cluster box at Bluff Pointe Way is open. Someone needs to come and lock it up.

I contacted the summerall station this morning @ approximately 7:45 am. Informed them that I have not received ANY mail for the past 5 delivery days. I also informed them that I work for the gov. and receive sensitive registered mail. I informed them that I would be expecting a complete explanation and a letter of culpability to these facts.
