My name is Arline Goddu at 92 Mason ave. I have many packages delivered to my home. I have been experiences delivery of packages in an unacceptable place and method. Today was the last straw. He dropped a very fragile item just inside the driveway. I was outside and heard the box hit the ground and roll. I don't think it takes much more energy to place it in a proper place. It was an obvious a very fragile item, Instapot pressure cooker quite a large box with the item pictures of the item and the name on the outside of the box. One don't need to be an Einstein to know it was a very fragile item. Just don't care. Another 5 feet to the right would have put the package safely on the front stairs. I don't know his name, it was Saturday afternoon 6/26/21. This is not the first time but my first complaint. Arline Goddu

I just got a message from Amazon that my package, a rug, could not be delivered because my mailbox was full. My mail box is completely empty. Additionally, my garage door is open and my husband and son are both home.

The recently changed substitute mail person for the Fairview area of Portsmouth is not delivering parcels the way he should. Unlike every other USPS regular driver and substitute driver we have deliver packages to our home, and unlike the UPS and FEDEX drivers, this individual does not deliver them to the door. He either leaves them on the grass near the mailbox (when the packages don't fit) or he leaves them out in the open on the driveway. Yesterday, a package go soaked because he left a cardboard package there during the pouring rain, the box was soaked by the time we found it and the contents got wet and nearly damaged. He also has the habit of smoking outside his USPS vehicle, then disgardeing the cigarette butts on the ground near where he stands, leaving them for the neighborhood people to pick up

for the second time recently, my postman has left packages on the ground near my mailbox. Leaving them out in the open near the road makes it very easy for people to steal the package. Both times the packages were rained on and kind of smashed. I thought if the box would not fit in my large mailbox that they were suppose to put them on the front porch. Please address this with your postmen. I know they are busy, but I'm not real happy with the service. Thank you for your time. I don't want my mailman to get in trouble. Could you just make a general announcement
