Too often people only have time to complain and never give appreciation where it is GREATLY deserved. My neighbors & I are so thankful for the service that Mt. Pleasant P.O. provides to the citizens. My mail is delivered by foot in the township. Regardless of the weather(scorching, freezing, storms, viruses, or they're miserable/had a bad day) if it is the regular mail lady or a co-worker, they have always been respectful, pleasantly helpful AND never unprofessional, regardless of how they are treated by other members of the community. They're all amazing and should be appreciated for having to deal with some of the nonappreciative, ruthless citizens of Mt. Pleasant. Don't write a comment only when you're having a bad day. The 1 post you leave will continue forever and when out of 10 yrs you had something not perfect or not to your liking ONE time. Learn to appreciate the 1,000's of days you don't even notice they've dropped off your mail off, on time, exactly like it should be.

After 2 complaints that there is no knock on my door from the postal carrier when they deliver packages, the supervisor I spoke to at the Mt Pleasant post office told me they are not required that they can leave the package without notification, and spoke to me in a demeaning tone. After a little research I found the M41 (they're manual) and it turns out they are not allowed to leave the package unless I signed up for that service, and this is a wide spread misconception by the carriers and the people. Also a mail truck that hit my friend's car was told to leave by the local police and then covered up by the post office and local government, this post office is a reflection of everything this town represents, criminal activity and lying to the public to side step responsibility.

My mail does not get to my house till 530-600 pm in the evening! I would like to know how many other people would appreciate having to wait an extra day to cash their check because the dam mailman cannot do his job correctly! It is truely unbelievable that this guy gets away with this! He already has been arrested for a DUI and is still working for the post office! I will surely celebrate the day this guy retires and someone competant takes his place IT IS REDICULOUS!
