Received a notice from our cameras that someone was at our door. Appears to be a mail delivery man, NO MASK (but wearing gloves)- holding a piece of certified mail.
He did NOT leave any paperwork stating he tried to deliver the letter- just scanned it and walked away with it!
There is no way to contact the local office as the numbers are busy/generic USPS phone numbers.
The mail delivery system is terrible and has been for 8yrs when we moved here. This is NOT related to covid.
******This post office delivers mail to the wrong address regularly.******
If you are mailing something important you may want to reconsider.
They also return items to sender without contacting the customer who is waiting for and PAID for the package
I don't understand ho hard it is to deliver mail. We used to get it between 12 and 2 with our old mail carrier. Now it's 7,8, 9 PM if at all. I don't know who this new idiot is, but for $25 an hour - Is a joke. Packages are getting delivered to other houses and I have to wait for days for them to finally show up. Plus now I get informed delivery and scheduled packages are not even being delivered. This is bullshit.
its saturday 11/24/18...i have NOT gotten ANY mail since 11/21/18...none...and now fedex is giving them their stuff to deliver...AND its NOT getting delivered..i can't imagine this!!!..if i did MY JOB like this...i wouldn't have a JOB!!!!
I FIND THE MACUNGIE LOCATION ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. WHEN YOU CALL IT'S CONSTANTLY BUSY. I AM TRYING TO GET MY PACKAGE REDELIVERED AND CAN'T SINCE I WORK TILL 5 PM. THIS IS NOT OK.
There is no reason for this office to have a phone number listed because they don't answer. I have had two small packages listed as "undeliverable to address" and I live in a big development. No notice on door or anything. I would like to come pick them up (which is stupid because that's the whole point of me getting them sent to me) and no one will answer their phone at this office.
I have been calling all day The phone is obviously off the hook. I received notification to sign for a letter. I was away for a week and received the notice upon my return. I immediately went to the post office to sign and puck up the letter. The postal worker couldn't locate the letter but insisted I sign the form and he would locate the letter and have the carrier deliver it on the next mail delivery day. That was 4 days ago and I have yet to receive my letter. I work 13 hour days 5 days a week. So again this Saturday I will have to go to the post office and attempt to get answers. Too bad I can't be as incompetent in my job.
