My packages have been being delivered to my neighbors house ! Five times in the last three weeks, When I called to ask that all packages be delivered either to my mailbox or porch or even on the ground at the end of my driveway, I was told by a very arrogant male postal employee that I would have to write a letter explaining my request to have my mail delivered to the proper address "in writing". This was because he could prove who I was on the phone. WHAT!! I want my mail delivered to my address 122 Watertower road . Not 126 ! I do not understand if the address on the package is 122 then deliver it to 122 not 126 ! If I wanted it delivered to another address than shown on the package then I understand the request be in writing .BUT no one ever requested that change in writing. This sure give the postal service a BAD reputation. If the mail deliverer can not distinguish the proper delivery location maybe he or she should try another profession. Upset in Latrobe

I received notice of a package that was not delivered. The previous mail lady always drive down our driveway, honked and left the package on by the front door. The new guy won’t. When I enquired at the Latrobe PO they told me drivers aren’t allowed to back up to turn around! It’s the most mindless excuse I’ve ever heard! Today, I saw the driver pull into my neighbors driveway and BACKED OUT ONTO Buffenmeyer road! Which is it? Can’t back up or just dumb excuses?

I don't know who the mail person is, I heard a fill in on Raymond Ave. right now. I know we had a woman before and she was good at her job. But lately the residents are getting mail left at other residences, weekly flyers were never delivered, and some mail not even put inside the proper mailbox. who knows what else has not been delivered. I called the post office and complained but are they going to do anything about it?

Went to Latrobe Post Office today to inquire about Passport Renewal. The "Lady" behind the counter was rude and extremely unhelpful. She would not answer any questions or explain the renewal process. She made it very clear that the Post Office has nothing to do with applying for a new or renewed passport. She would be the perfect candidate for customer relations training.

Most people write complaints on here but I want to complement a very nice young girl in the Derry post office . She is a very pleasant, friendly person. She greets you with a smile and a warm greeting all the time. She gives me a touch of happiness every time I see her. When I leave she always says have a good day. Emily is the kind of person I wish more people were like . Instead of complaining, say something nice about a person. This would be a better world if we look for the good in people

Tired of the delivery person leaving packages on the ground that do not fit in the mailbox instead of bringing them up to the house. We cannot see our mailbox from our house. Our previous delivery person would bring the packages that did not fit in the box up to the house WITH our mail. Now, this person doesn't bring anything up. Just dumps it all by the row of mailboxes--rain or shine. Going to call the main office on Monday!

I am very upset to see my mail carrier just put mail were he felt like it today. I go outside to get it and tell him this is not a mail box and please stop putting it in there. He said oh I am just a fill in really!!! My mailbox is on the side porch!!!

I sell books online and have used various services of the USPS. I've never had a problem with delivery. When I have a question or need help, the staff is available and courteous, not to mention helpful. My home deliveries occasionally have a slip up, but they're soon corrected. The folks at the post office have a tremendous responsibility and they fulfill it well. Give them a break!

I used for 30 days " General Delivery" at Latrobe PA Post Office. But my mail was returned to sender by the P.O. many times by mistake and thus not given to me. causing me great headaches !!!!!

Terrible layrobe service. At least twice i shouldve received notices for certified mail and didnt. Items were sent back to sender and PO will not be responsible for money i lose on shopping costs. Also, carrier only comes when they feel like it apparently....i have outgoing mail sticking out of mailbox and no one comes to pick it up until the next day! Tired of this crappy incompetent service!

I have used the Mail Hold process about 8 to 10 times over last few years. It works only about 50% of the time. The day that I schedule the mail delivery is a 50/50 chance of showing up. I usually need to call the post office to get my mail. This is occurring at the Latrobe, Pa. post office.

My review is going to be very harsh, I think it's stupid when I received a postal money order and I can't cash it anywhere. I don't' understand why doesn't carry extra cash in order for me to cash it. I think the service is real bad.There was no supervisor around to ask why I can't cash it!I can't keep on running all over the place to cash this money order.Gas is 2.79 a gallon and i have only my roommates car to get me to and from where i need to go.I'm not running all over God's creation to cash this money order!!!!

I agree! Went to 5 post offices and 4 stores on my way to work before I even found one that had enough money to cash it! Ridiculous! No information on this site regarding where to cash, how to cash, etc. Just tried calling and was on hold with awful music for 37 minutes.... have no idea if they are open today and what time because holidays that they are closed are posted but not the actual hours of the 'eves.'

Our carrier in latrobe Pa has no respect for our packages and leaves our gate open so the pet or grand child can go out on the street and be hit by a automobile, I asked him today about the gate being left open and his comment was " I knew I left it open " he try's to stick medicine bottle in a mail slot , big round objects in a rectangle opening . Doesn't work causes damage to mail slot , there's a door beside it which he can put packages in or buy . Would hope as a federal employee he would respect and care about his customers , tried calling post office to talk with post master and the phone just rings , more lack of respect to us customers
