Re: I have had mail delivered opened many times.
I have have small packages delivered to my mailbox opened and also opened and empty.
I have tracked small packages to my mailbox that were never delivered. I have had larger packages delivered opened and damaged.
Most recently I have had 2 packages dropped on my front porch on the same day. They were from two different vendors. I have a photo of the smaller package before it was mailed to me, nicely double boxed containing 3 items.
When the packages were received the smaller package I mentioned above was a mess of packing tape, styrofoam and one small box containing two items. The third item was broken and it was delivered in the second, larger package which was from a different vendor.
The package had a huge hole in its side and looked like someone had jumped on it. The items were in there loosely. Some were wrapped in newspaper. Some were not. Most were shattered. This include the piece that should've come in the small package that was from a different vendor in a different state. The large box was stamped that it was received damaged at Colmar PO.
