I do not know who delivers to us, but she is really immature. We have an old-time mail slot on our door, and we have a baby who is sleeping so in order for the dogs not to bark, we lock it and have a box right outside our door to put mail. Twice now, our mail has not been delivered because she refuses to put the mail in the box.

Tracked a package wed. Estimated the 20th. I was home and in and out of the front doing chores most of the day on the 19th and mail did come in the form of letters & junk mail. I tracked the package today to see if it left for delivery and it shows delivered at 1222 on the 19th. That's quite amazing because no such package was dropped off. Larger box..20-25lbs of Fine pewter. So who had ended up with my box because I don't have it. Claim.. sure but you cannot get personal info from an ebay seller and guess what you need?! All that senders information. Called post office and left a message so we will see I suppose if someone is honest and returns it being misdelivered . This had happened before and never had anyone sent it back so I'm not holding my breath this time.

My delivery man has been warned about crossing my front yard to deliver the mail. This is not a walking path. I’m filing a complaint and advising my homeowners as such

Sent my grandson a card the 16th of August. He has yet to get it. My son said his mother in law sent a card about same to same area to her daughter also to Mechanicsburg area. She didn't receive it. Seems ironic neither got their mail sent from same post office to same area. My husband directly handed our card to a young girl working there. He checked yesterday to see where it might have gotten. They said nothing they can do. I called today ask for post master who happens to be my neighbor. No return call

Addressed was misspelled, Shara instead of Sarah, post office returned it twice due not having that name spelled correctly. It’s strange when you put it on google earth it will show the same place spelled either way

I am so appalled that someone opened my mail and removed part of my mail!!! I can't believe it! What kind of person would do that??? I never had a problem before ever, till today when I got my mail it was ripped open. No wonder nobody uses the postal service anymore. You can't trust them.

We had a great mailman in 2019, however he took a new route and our deliveries have been terrible since. Today the mailman did not even walk down to our house to check the address. Instead he delivered our package and 6 pieces of mail too our neighbor's house.

I know a mailman who holds a girls mail and meets her along his route to hand deliver it to her so that her husband never gets the mail. She is hiding her mail from her husband because she has credit cards she doesn’t want him to find out about. Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this a federal offense, tampering with the mail?

Why do you care? It is delivered to the person it is addressed to. OH, you are prefect and never gossip or hide things.

Our mail has not gotten picked up if we do not have mail! The mailman does not even check our box to see if there is mail. I have had several letters and other things late and ended up causing myself penalty’s and late fees. This is unacceptable

In reading the comments that others have left - it concerns me greatly. I have dealt with the Altoona Post Office for my whole life and I have never seen a more dedicated group of people. My father was a postal worker in this same location probably in the 1970s.. I was young but I remember going into this location with him. The fact that people have the nerve to post such awful things about a group of individuals that have been nothing but kind and helpful is quite sad. My different postal carriers for my home location have always done a wonderful job as well. I appreciate the hard work and dedication. We should all appreciate the fact that your group is still out there delivering the mail at the possible risk to your own safety. thank you for all that you do. Susie

I'm not sure who handles our route but I am livid. We've lived here near 2 years and despite numerous notes and attempts of communication we are constantly receiving mail from people who no longer live here but on top of that our out going mail is rarely taken. I make sure each time to set it up and be visible within the mailbox but unless I put a note on the mailbox it's like they don't even bother checking to see if there is any outgoing. How can I resolve this issue?? Because I am tired of my things not being delivered on the because of someone else's negligence.

I have steps leading to a closed in porch. A small package was left by USPS delivery in the middle of the top step. I opened my door the other morning and stepped right on it. If delivery personnel are not trained in where exactly to leave packages, they should be. No damage was done to the package of myself. I was quick to recover footing, but an elderly person may not be so lucky.

I'm disgusted with the postal service in downtown Altoona. I work for a Business and the mail will go days without being picked up. When it is picked up, we get other peoples mail with addresses that are clearly not ours, and our mail gets dropped off at other businesses that are not our address. How hard is it to read a name and address and stop every day at businesses to pick up outgoing mail. I thought that is what these people get paid good money to do! What are the qualifications today??? This is ridiculous. I have complained at the Postmaster's Office and this still persists. There are a lot of people who need jobs. I am sure you could find someone who is willing to do a better job!!!

Altoona Pa Postal Service Supervisory Beware; Employee; Karen Sines Rickabaugh Yohn formerly of 2818-2820 Beale Avenue in Blair County PA willfully participated in felony crine at her residence on Beale Ave; An unworthy, corrupt Altoona PA postal worker with six children born out of wedlock to five different men, she is an envious, calculated thief whom conspired along with four other adults to rob over fifty thousand dollars and jewelry. Ironically, she conveniently relocated briefly before the robbery to evade her primary part in strategizing the conspiracy and her evident monetary gain but she cannot avoid God knowing all the facts, dirty little secrets, conspiracies and lies. Lawyered up with Huff on date of prescheduled polygraphs. Final judgement day will come but in the meantime, karma will reciprocate, tenfold.

Just wish to heartily thank the mail delivery person who serves our area over on Kissell Avenue on Saturdays. Had an outbound piece of mail yesterday and even though he had no mail for us, he came well out of his way to pick up our outbound item and a brief but enjoyable conversation ensued. He's a real credit to USPS, indeed so. While all the postal delivery folks over here are superb, this one's truly so! All the best to him and to you all! John W. Larner
