Don't even try and call to get a delivery issue corrected. I called the Allentown post offce and spoke to a very rude gentleman who told me I needed to call a national 1-800 number. My mother has been receiving a neighbors mail constantly for the last 2 months at her home. She's received their car registration, their bank statement and bills. She receives at least two pieces of their mail every week. The gentleman at the post office said nothing they can do. The city is too big to guaranty proper delivery of all mail. (Really now, this isn't an accident that happens once in awhile, it's every week. Someone obviously doesn't know how to do their job.) I tried calling the 800 # , the wait time was between 37 and 57 minutes. Who in their right mind is going to hold that long. Isn't it nice to know that when you have a cushy job that pays $60,000/year you don't need to be accurate or compassionate.
1065 lehigh parkway east, allentown, 18103 ..our driveway is cleared there is an entrance on porch to mailbox from "driveway"....please deliver mail ! the driveway is cleared since wed...no mail has been delivered....fed ex has delivered, if they can deliver big boxes, mailman can deliver mail,,,,,,,,no excuses why mail has not been delivered..thank you, janet robinson
Our mail delivery has been getting later and later, arriving well past 7:30 at night. Getting it at 5pm was bad enough, but became acceptable as it arrived at a consistent time. Now we never know when it will come. The entire neighborhood is concerned.
