I filled out a forwarding card when I closed my post office box. I already had been receiving mail at my physical address for over 20 years, also in Scio. I asked if I needed to do anything else and was told no. Two weeks later and I still had no mail forwarded. I asked how long is it going to take and was told it could be 2 to 3 days or 2 to 3 weeks. Then I got two different letters from the post office both dated weeks earlier telling me that I needed to either go online or to take the letter to the post office because they were having issues processing my request. One of the letters had a sticker saying no forwarding on file and yet it was sent to my physical address along with a piece of mail. The post office machine would not accept my driver's license even though it had both my physical and post office box on it, but they would take accept the car registration. It's now been 27 days and I've yet to receive any of my mail. I tried to update as many businesses and friends as I could of my change of address but I don't know who I have missed because the post office isn't forwarding anything. There could be bills that are due now or connections that were missed. Very disappointing, especially as it's for the same town from just a post office box to a physical address where they already know I live.
