in the midst of moving I was left a pink delivery slip. it doesn't say who the mail is from. nothing's filled out, except for the tracking number area, saying they have a forward for us, and is it correct or do we still live here. yes, and sort of. so, tell our postal clerk to forward our mail...and I will, also.
Just at the PO in Medford. Closed Columbus Day it seems. Waited in a long line to use the self-service Kiosk, which is OK. Not their fault somebody came in with a dozen packages to send out. However, when I finally got to use it I bought and paid for 2 sheets of stamps for almost 10 dollars and only got one sheet. The receipt says 2 sheets and I have no way to prove I only got one. So I wound up paying almost a buck a piece for 10 stamps. What a rip off.
I was in the post office with my toddler and 4 year old on Monday- we waited in the passport line for more than an hour. There is nowhere to sit and nothing to do, so eventually I put my toddler down and he happily toddled around, to the amusement of many of the patrons waiting in line for the postal clerks. He was smiling and walking about, then a postal worker came out and asked loudly, "Does anyone know whose children these are?" I said yes, I'm right here, they're mine. He said, again loudly,"You need to pick him up, this isn't a playground." I said, shocked, "Excuse me?" He said, "Yeah, it's called good parenting." All I could do was laugh in the moment, but it was a truly rude attack on my character and I could not believe the other postal workers let him bully me like that. Are we supposed to get child care so we can go to the post office without children? Only adults are allowed to walk around a post office, but not children? Parents are now "bad parents" if they allow children down to walk about? I have called the above phone number to speak with Nicholas Eufemi, the Postmaster in Medford, but nobody ever picks up. I would at least like an apology from Dave, the rude postal worker.
I put in a change of address months ago but items are still being delivered to my old address which is across the state. I have tried calling the post office for two business days and no one will even pick up the phone, there is no way to leave a message and the only option when it is done ringing is to "enter a remote access code". This is absolutly ridiculous. I have to have someone across the state go and hopefully pick the items so that they can reship them up to me. I have never been so frustrated with the postal service before.
Trying to get passport information and/or new passport is next to impossible. No one answers the phone and when one goes to the office it is usually closed. The website SUCKS! It guides one to the Expedite Passport page which charges more $. Calling the toll free number isn't helpful either.
talked with our post man, have had issues with this same post office worker before, had our neighbors hand us our mail three times this week saying they received it. the post office worker called us a liar. very disappointing that the post office workers have to behave this way!
Just tried calling the Medford Post Office at 4pm and no one answers! The corny sounding message machine is there to answer though, and it says that they're available until 5pm. Is everyone on break????
I accidently inverted two #'s on a package to N. Crater Lake Ave, paid over $13.00 to mail the package and little attempt was made to properly deliver the package. No wonder your going broke. I will use UPS from now on, at least they make an attempt to deliver. Isn't that your slogan?? Last cash you'll get out of me.
This address is not where street address packages or certifieds are picked up, street pick up items, the post master and any supervisors would be at the mail carrier annex at 173 Ehrman Way Medford Oregon 97501. The phone # is 541-774-4088
The line waiting for the passports in always so long. Not in the since theres a lot of people, but that each person takes so long. All we needed was the application to get things going. Had to come back 3 times because the wait was just to ridiculous. So on the third time I made sure to allow myself enough time to wait, with success! However, it still took 45 minutes waiting for 3 people in front of me, but finally got the application. And why is this office smaller than say the one in Phoenix, who serves a much smaller population. Guess the higher up's had never seen this office, and didnt take into consideration how small and inconvenient this is....
The USPS has mis-delivered a large parsel to my address - I have called (4) telephone numbers and am back to square zero. I'm disabled and have no intention of trying to physically return the package to he USPS in Medford, Or 97501. Any assistance would be appreciated - Jim Eaton (541) 535-3918.
uspspostoffices.com is not affiliated with or in anyway a part of the US Postal Service, and is not qualified to give official or legal council on this matter. I recommend you call 1-800-Ask-USPS for official instructions. That said, you may be able to simply write a note on the package with "not at this address" or "wrong address", and then leave the parcel in or near where USPS delivers your incoming mail.Good luck
