I've always had good luck with our local Post office, kind and efficient people to serve us. It's always clean and display 's are done nicely as well as easy to get to. And the Manager is great, helping me with my wrong address delivery that I did recently. Thanks for the nice and efficient staff!

This post office used to be great. Very efficient. The greatest team of employees. But they have retired now and ever since January of 2023 the office is a hotbed of incompetence. The employees are very nice people but I have no idea what is going on there. Is the training non existent? In November we put a forwarding on our mail because we were going to spend the holidays with our daughter in Washington. We came home early in February due to medical problems. We tried to have the forwarding canceled. I have gone to the office more than once to have the forwarding stopped and the employees swore that they canceled it (and I do believe that they did what they thought was to be done) but our mail is still being forwarded to Washington. Now, today, we received a note in our mailbox put in there by the mailman that stipulates for our mail to be forwarded! We are very, very upset about this rampant incompetence! This office in McMinnville is sorely lacking in being able to “do the right thing”!

Beginning in late January, 2023 the incompetence of the McMinnville, Oregon branch of the U.S.P.S. really made itself felt. A small parcel was sent back by this branch as "undeliverable due to a non-existent address". I have lived at this address for ten years and the company I ordered from had used my correct address, so it's clear who was responsible for this error. Fully consistent with this level of poor service, our neighborhood's new postal carrier does not deliver the mail for 2 - 3 days in a row. But on Monday, March 14, 2023 I did receive an attempted delivery notice card in my mailbox. I was home all day, but no one had knocked. I followed the instructions on the notification card and arranged for a re-delivery on the 16th. The postal carrier did not even come, thus prompting me to travel into town to speak to the postmaster on Friday the 17th. The Postmaster (who is notorious for her rudeness) told me, "We are not obligated to re-deliver anything for someone like you." "Then why", I asked, "do you offer this service?" "I SAID we are not obligated to re-deliver to you." "I heard you the first time, but you did not answer my question." "I don't have time for this", she snapped. "Please step aside so I can help another customer."

This facility is very poor. Throughout the pandemic they have had staff spewing rhetoric and scoffing at members of the public. They do not honor their posted hours; ex: they now have lobby hours during which the doors are locked and the self service is inaccessible starting at 7pm daily and 4pm on Sundays though often close prior to those posted times. Often their lobby is dirty. Mail is inconsistent in delivery; we often go 2-3 days without delivery then get a large stack. Staff are rude and many make it seem like an inconvenience to assist the public. I truly wish there was somewhere else to go.

Sweet job! $72K to NOT deliver mail and NOT answer the phone, basically NOT doing your job. I recently visited the beautiful town of McMinnville and sent a thank you note to the LaughiNG BeaN Bistro, PRIORITY. It was returned to sender bc it did not have STE number. Fixed it and re-sent PRIORITY. Again, "Return to Sender". Does the mail person not know their own route and customers. Easy to understand the 1 Star rating (which is too much). It is sad to attempt to spread positive vibes with thank you note and get shut down by laziness or ineptness. Should have sent FEDEX to begin with, they are Professionals.

This has happened so many times and it’s getting old. Our mail carrier shoved every package that’s being delivered into our mail box! It doesn’t matter the size or the quantity, she will make them all fit inside! She is so lazy, that she just won’t get out of her vehicle. One time there was a car parked legally, in front of the house and because it blocked the two mailboxes… she didn’t deliver the mail. The two elderly ladies stood in the middle of the road to get her to stop and she went around them. They followed her down the street and both stood in the middle until she had to stop! Who the hell does this? They get paid a decent amount of money and it shouldn’t be out of their way to deliver the mail in a satisfactory way! I know when you pay over $50+ on a package… I expect it to be delivered to the front door!!!

This is just a question and not a review...but as I am unable to get a hold of the mcminnville branch (not answering their phone) I'm thinking I could ask here. What happens to a letter if it's not completely sealed when mailed? I mailed something with sensitive information this morning at the drop box and when I put it in, I noticed that the seal might not have been sealed ALL the way through....Now I'm nervous and wondering if the post office tapes those?

Supposedly, according to tracking number a package I’ve been waiting for was delivered at 12:44 in/or at my mailbox on 12 Feb 2022. I don’t know where the package went but it certainly was never delivered to my address. I don’t expect I’ll ever get this package as it’s not the first time this has happened. I have a RING camera and shows nothing ever put on my porch at that time or date. So, someone enjoy the product I ordered.

My key will not go in straight you have to put it in on the sideways and jiggle it to open I am sure it has been tampered with. Went to the local P.O. They said it will be 6-8 weeks for someone to come by and fix it …..really ….because they would have to come from Portland Oregon. They have nobody in that could correct the problem. I replied how often is this happening she said often just spray wd40 in it, and the problem probably is the brass lock. Should it not be the PO job to maintain there boxes. If they would look at them periodically probably would be remedied. Actually it should be graphite that wouldn’t evaporate.

As you won't answer your phone I would like to get a message to our delivery person's supervisor. I don't expect you can help with personalities..(not a happy camper to deal with) however I do expect our mail delivery person to NOT throw our boxed mail at our door and when they drop the mail on the road and not pick up to put in our box I feel the need to notify someone. Your service is expected to be professional.

At least yours is near your front door… ours shoves, literally shoves every item into our box! Today we had 4 items shoved inside and it’s not the first time. It maybe easier for her to get them in but it’s not at all easy to get them out. She’s so lazy… she doesn’t want to get out of her vehicle to put the items on the landing post!

I sent an express package on Monday that was sent to the wrong address but then was told that I was ineligible to get a refund. I also got told that now twice that I would receive a phone call with the location of my packet as everybody seems to keep passing the ball to the next person. Not even an apology about my packet. It is preposterous that the post office acts like is my fault the package was sent to the wrong place. Your receipt had the correct address, so I don't even know what to say.

The postal worker just dropped off a “we missed you” notice while we were home. I ran after her to get our package. She said she left the package at the post office and told us to go get it there. We work full time and are unable to go during their working hours so she said she will look for someone else to redeliver since the box is too heavy. The package contains a small camping grill... To top that, she made it sound like she is doing us a favor delivering our mail. At least, she could have apologized for the inconvenience.. I understand, life happens but this attitude is unacceptable.

Hello, How do you manage mail to large apartment complexes when occupant(s) may no longer reside there? My son was living at the Lafayette Place Apts at 2349 NE Lafayette Ave, McMinnville, OR. He’s young & not very attentive to paperwork/mail. IF he did not submit a USPS change of address card, but has moved, what happens to his mail? I can’t imagine your office can keep all the tenants straight at such a large complex. Would the current occupant just continue to get his mail? I’m wondering as I recently sent 2 pieces of mail, but have not received them back as “Undeliverable” & in this case, should have heard from him by now as they regard an urgent business matter we need to take care of finalizing. Sure would appreciate knowing your procedures. Thank you!

All these complaints. Wait until the greedy republicans privatize the US Postal Service like they privatize everything else and then you will have the same mess as you have under the trump administration.

We are still having trouble with our mail delivery. Yesterday Friday April 3, 2020 we did not receive our mail. I know we had mail because I receive the local paper on that day. I did call the office this morning to make sure you are still doing daily delivery. This is disappointing for us.

We constantly get neighbors mail in our box and some are VIP mail. I received a call from my insurance company I have been using for a decade that my mail is being returned and I need to update my new address. We haven't moved!!! This is the crappiest mail service I have ever experienced and not sure what to do now. I guess file a claim??? It makes me wonder what other mail I am missing as I have in past expected mail I never received .

We have had numerous residents complain last week that the mail man is not placing mail with correct addresses; in their boxes. The front desk only receives mail with incorrect addresses and these are taken to their apartments. Today we reviewed the mail and there were numerous letters with correct addresses left on the counter for the front desk to hand deliver. Please address this to the Hillside mail man. Residents want their mail in their mail boxes. Thank you.

My maillady is so rude. My only parking is in the street, I make sure no cars are blocking the boxes, to where she can pull right up to it, but I yet again got a note from her stating that I have to move my car more forward because she shouldn't have to back up 3 feet in order to pull away, but if I pull forward she puts a not stating that I need to move because I'm too close to the neighbors mail box and not having a driveway to park in and most of the time there's no where else to park. She's extremely rude and won't deliver my mail because she literally has to back up 3 feet AT MOST! She's complained about everything she possibly could. I really wish we could get a different delivery person.

Worst mail service I have ever received. There have been issues of other people parking in front/ near my mailbox.Mind you I live and the only straight part of the sidewalk in the cul-de-sac. And the lady who delivers my mail just decides not to deliver my mail. Mind you she could park right behind it and GET OUT of her car to put it in there then go around the car. But she refuses to get out of her car and take two steps. She's always extremely rude anytime you try to talk to her and even just get the mail from her to make it easier. To the point where i've had to call and talk to her manager and she's had to apologize. She's told me to push the car out of the way (because one of the times I knew it was my neighbors car that had to be towed). Mind you i'm 110 lbs. live alone and have extreme back issues that are currently about to be corrected by surgery. So honestly I would do anything to get another person to deliver my mail. To the point where if I didn't work the hours they were open I would just pick it up myself so I would never have to deal with her again. I wish her the best in life because if she's this rude her life must be awful.

Post Office Mail box Slot an /or key not working---this Mail Box Unit is owned by The U.S.Postal Dept. and as such "They" are responsible for their equipment to work properly. A employee of The McMinnville P.O.said there would be a $40.00 charge I would have to pay for them to fix the problem. Can't help but wonder if they (P.O.) treat all senior Korean Veterans with such a lack of consideration. Copy: Veterans Affairs Dept>

I always take my outgoing mail directly to my local McMinnville Post Office thinking that is safest. Still, have had 3 pieces of mail that did not reach their destination. These of course contained checks for bill payments, which if not received reflects on my credit rating. WHAT HAS HAPPEND TO THIS MAIL?? Really don't want to pay bills on-line, but am more and more reluctant to count on my local US Postal Service. Sorry for the bad review - wish it weren't so.
