Amazon says “package delivered” all the time when the package actually arrives later in the day or the next day. Someone at the post office must be marking them delivered before they are actually delivered.

EVERY time I order something from Amazon the "Lincoln City post office" gets my package, but won't deliver it to my home. I get a message back from Amazon stating the package was UNDELIVERABLE. Why won't the mailman deliver my Amazon packages?? Who can we complain to, so we can get this fixed? The post office does not seem to care.

The phone number for this place is a hoax. Don't bother calling, they won't answer.

I ORDER WATER FROM AMAZON BECAUSE I CANNOT LIFT AS I HAVE HAD CANCER AND PART OF LUNG REMOVED AND I CAN BARELY BREATHE SO I ORDER ONLINE TO HAVE IT DELIVERED UPSTAIRS TO MY DOOR. WELL, TONIGHT 12/11/22 AT 7:35 PM I HEARD CAR DOWNSTAIRS AND IT WAS A POST OFFICE TRUCK AND GUY WAS GETTING IN IT AND I SAW MY BOX OF WATER 20LB BOX SITTING DOWN ON THE STREET IN FRONT OF MY STAIRS (13 STAIRS TO MY DOOR. I YELLED AND GUY NAMED BRANDON GOT OUT AND HE SAID HE CANT COME UPSTAIRS CUZ RAINING AND HE MAY SLIP I TOLD HIM OMG SO PICK UP THE BOX IN ONE ARM AND HOLD THE DANG STAIR RAILING. HE WAS VERY ABLE BODIED LOOKING AND HE REFUSED AT FIRST THEN SAID ONE TIME ONLY THEN RAN UP STAIRS. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT A PERSON WORKING IN THIS CAPACITY CANNOT LIFT A 20LB BOX OF WATER AND BRING UP TO AN OLD WOMAN LIKE ME AT 71YRS OLD. EVEN THO HE FINALLY DID I REMINDED HIM ABOUT THE 2 BOXES COUPLE WEEKS AGO LEFT IN THE RAIN ON STREET IN FRONT OF GARAGE HE NODDED AND WHEN I SAID I AM GOING TO TELL SOMEONE BECAUSE I ONLY ENDED UP WITH ONE BOX SO SOMEONE STOLE IT FROM THE STREET, HE IMMEDIATELY SAID YOU CANT PROVE THAT WAS ME WELL, DOESN'T MATER THE FACT IS THAT PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVIC IN THAT CAPACITY SHOULD NOT BE HIRED IF THEY CANNOT DO THE JOB. PERIOD

Worse PO ever. Post Master lied when saying, cant deliver mail to our 2nd home in less it comes in forwarded! Been having to drive past my mail box to pick up mail which is held for 7 days then returned. Most comes in marked as NMR (no mail receptacle) even tho used to receive at that mail box for two yrs. Postal rule 508 says you can get mail at any location as post office does not control where you get to receive mail.

Lincoln City Post Office refused to deliver a bill because the envelope had the correct address on it and the owner of the business' name on it BUT not the business name. That is petty and it shows how petty the employees at the Post Office are. They won't even answer the phone at the Post Office but customers are forced to listen to endless moronic messages trying to talk to a live person. Federal Gov't needs to stop supporting the Postal System!

This is the worst postal service Ive ever received. We have lived in several states -cities within a state and depot bay and here in lincoln city - depot bay is much smaller and has had delivery driver shortages and yet we always got the correct mail and pkgs left put away from the road or weather .. Here in LC we get the neighbors mail ,different neighbors will get ours , they leave notices saying there was an attempt to deliver - with us outside watching truck drive away and not come to house . We’ve had pages left on top of our trash can , by the hose bib ,on our truck toolbox - even got a nasty note when we first moved in … but no one is accountable here - WHY and who do I contact to be compensated in some small way .. a new postal carrier? A new attitude adjustment? Please some help here

EVERY time I order something and it is to get delivered to my my home, I receive a notice that my package(s) are undeliverable. How is the possible when everyone in my complex gets their packages? I seem to be the only one who's mail and packages are undeliverable. My sons Christmas presents are being sent back because of a lazy delivery driver. Thank you!

I live in Coronado Shores, so the new "rule" is, if a box doesn't fit in the receptacle you have to DRIVE all the way to the POST OFFICE to pick it up. WHAT!! So you don't deliver at all they don't even try and of course they are not open on Saturday either. When I lived on Voyage Loop they delivered packages that were too large for the receptacle box, what is the difference? Who decided that rule? Only deliver some things and now have to stand in line and gather in a room with COVID around?

You would think they would answer the phone or allow leaving a message. Not happening here.

On Monday 3/22 our postal carrier left 4 packages at the top of our bottom set of stairs near the street - they were Amazon sourced but delivered by USPS. Rather than taking a few more steps to at least put them by the front door that would have offered protection from the weather and prevent possible theft, he put them out in the open near the street. I wasn't home at the time. The packages were soaked by rains that day, one had a book inside that was damaged by moisture. At least they weren't stolen! I called the office on Tuesday and a kind lady answered right away. I told her about my complaint. She passed me on to the post master. The postmaster too was kind, heard me out as I talked about good customer service expected by USPS personnel, taking care of customer property they deliver by keeping it out of the weather and away from passers by (as best as possible). She said it's not the USPS responsibility to put packages from Amazon or other non-USPS sourced items where customers want them, only to "get them there." She said she tries hard to train employees to do the right thing, but we all know there are people who just don't follow that principle. So today Friday, a few days later I had a USPS sourced package delivered to my house. The driver this time left the package on the bottom step of my stairs, again in the open and even more prone to be stolen. Luckily I was home and able to retrieve it. Funny thing is - yesterday I also had a package delivered by UPS (Brown - not USPS). The young man did the right thing - he carried the heavy package up the two flight of stairs as directed in our instructions. When I answered the door I thanked him for taking the extra effort to deliver the package to the correct place. He politely said words to the effect of "This is the only place where it is safe and out of the rain!" Wow. What service. See - it can be done. It's just whether the person is willing to serve the customer (like UPS), or not (like our USPS carrier). I would have rather just sent this to the postmaster and not post it on this site, but there's no way to email the local office. Hoping for better USPS service in the future by carriers, for all of us!

No one answers the phones there. I have called 8 times so far and no answer. This is so maddening . I know they are busy but surely someone can answer the phone. Trying again. :(

I know very frustrating and especially when tracking says your package delivered but never received it! The carrier who handles Coronado Shores messes up frequently. I finally had to go in person to file my complaint since no one answers the phone. Then they did not know where my package went. Well same thing today. I guess I have to make another trip. Way too often this happens and get others mail or they get mine. Careless. This has happened many times, before covid and before holiday

Having someone write this for me as I am blind and can not use a computer. I get audio books for the blind from the Salem library. I change the card with the return address and leave it in my mailbox, can not put it in the outgoing mail slot as the slot is to small. I place a note on top of the books asking them to mail to the Salem Library. They will sit in the mail box for days with the new mail thrown over them. I have complained to the local Lincoln City Oregon post office and all they tell me is to submit a pickup order and leave the books outside the door. Which I can not do as no access to computer for pickup as blind. Can't drop at post office as can not drive. I think this is awful that the post office can not service people with disabilities. Your need to get another mail slot for larger outgoing mail or have your carries be aware of larger outgoing items.

I'm not doing a review but instead tracking a package. I've ordered a band saw from a company that says you delivered it to my mailbox ( tracking #LW984816492CN at September 3rd at the Lincoln City Oregon post office) I'm starting to question the company I ordered it from, they said it was 350mm x 220mm in size and haven't seen it and being in a small apartment complex that I'm in I would of heard about it or seen it so I don't believe it was delivered. Please let me know what you find. Thank you

Okay this sad and leaves no faith to our postal service. I have a ring doorbell and got it for criminal acts but didn’t think it would catch poor customer service. Today while I was asleep being on night shift my wife was home alone. She messed her back up and has a pinched nerve and takes her awhile to get moving. I watched the video of a postal carrier ring our door bell and stand there for about three seconds. Once that happened my dog barked a few times just to let her prescence known. Just like any normal dog. Once the dog barked you can clearly hear the postal carrier say “ oh f$&@ that” and storms away. Not any two seconds later my wife got to the door to get the package but your carrier departed. Instead he left a note saying no one could be reached and to go to the post office. This is unexcabtle and makes me very angry. Are you kidding me a dog bark makes him leave. You can plan on receiving a call from me in the morning.
