OMG. Has anyone tried to reach the Granrs Pass post office lately? Good frigging luck! There is a terrible woman who could care less about ANYONE, who answers the phone, IF you can get her to answer. The newest lady at the PO is really sweet though, but we shouldn't have to go there for a simple question/request. Lord help us, the PO certainly isn't what it used to be...

Disabled in a wheelchair. Filled out the paperwork to have all packages delivered to my house. Driver refuses. Says she can't turn around. Must be a horrible driver as the long UPS truck has not trouble turning around. I have asked multiple drivers if they have any trouble turning around. None have a problem. I need to go to town to get my packages, I try but they have no handicapped parking for me to unload my chair. So I drive to a business that has a parking area for me to unload. Then use my chair to get to the post office just to find they have not handicapped doors devices to open the heavy glass doors to allow me to enter. So I then file multiple complaints. The postmaster gets mad so he stops all mail delivery to ay address. For 6 months now I have had no mail. I have sent him letters since they do not bother answering the phone. He does not respond. I even set up a meeting for him to come to and Post Master was a no show. I sent him a certified letter and some how the letter is still listed as to be delivered. I have been speaking with the FBI, Senator Merkley's Office as wel as US Commissioners Bentz office. I am still working on. I do not understand how they are allowed to break so many laws and get away with it. We all need to get together on this and bring charges on the local GP post Office, Post master and our couriers.

Inconsistent delivery, a particular carrier is refusing to deliver, despite my repeated efforts to please. I have installed large parcel lockers, in a wide open, secure location and still cannot get consistent delivery. I am stunned at the decaying ethics and standards.

What's happening to the mail delivery for Demaray Drive 97527? Lately, many times our delivery comes after 4:30 PM. Usually between 1:30 and 2:30 PM before that for 35 years is used to be between 11:00 AM to noon. Today is Saturday the 6 of February 2021 and we didn't get any mail delivered? No more mail on Saturday? Is that because of Covid or something else?

I don’t know who you guys are dealing with but over here on this side of town we love our mailman. He’s polite happy and always on time. We order a lot of packages and get them on time and exactly as the tracking says. I’ve never tried to call but I got no complaints. ZERO. Thanks mail man

This has to be the worst post office location ever! This is the second time my granddaughter, who lives on Rogue River Hwy in Grants Pass, hasn't gotten what I've mailed her. Her small apartment complex has its mailboxes lined up on a main road. When the packages I send are too big to fit, the mail carrier leaves them propped up against the mailbox, so, of course, they get stolen! I have called your post office before and made them aware of this, and yet it's still happening. Can't they take a few extra steps and deliver the package/s to the front door at least! I have a service request in right now and want to be reimbursed for the Priority Mail package I just sent to my granddaughter -- $50! There were things in there that can't be duplicated. I think these carriers are just plain lazy, and this is very disappointing to both me and my granddaughter!

Website phone number is wrong, but even when you call the new number 541-956-5437 it rings about 40 times then starts a fast busy signal and you're done, no help. Website shows they have my package, no pink slip from mail carrier, no answer from post office, no wonder they're losing money. The sad thing is I actually saw the mail carrier turn around in my driveway - but didn't deliver my package and took it 13 miles back to town to the post office!

The number you posted here is not a 'new' number. It is the number to the DCU office on Washington. I have not been able to locate an updated number for the main office on 6th st. I'm with you though. It is super frustrating not to be able to get through to anyone. I had package delivery issues in my last area and did finally file a complaint about my letter carrier. I was full time teleworking and he/she kept leaving notices for packages on my door, never once knocked or rang the bell. This time, we recently moved and I have been waiting 2 weeks for NBU box keys... not a word from the PO and no keys to date. Yesterday I caught the letter carrier and asked him for the direct line to the office and he played dumb. He said, "ummm, I think you just need to go through all the hoops at the main number and then you can get someone at your post office. You know, I never had to call it so I dont really know." I was married to a letter carrier for 20 yrs, thats what they were instructed to say. So disappointing that this is the stand our local office takes as well.

I'm appalled at all the negative reviews the USPS get. Not one was positive. I served as a Letter Carrier for 5 years in the early 80's in Las Vegas NV. I was offered tips, cookies, bottles of wine, and more. (All I politely refused). Has the service become so deficient, that not even one carrier got a good review. It saddens me that these Federal Workers are so lacking, and in some cases criminal, by all accounts. Sad, just sad.

I’m waiting for a package that said it was out for delivery. Then the tracking number stayed that it was then being sent back to sender. Now it’s stated that it sitting in a P.O. Box waiting to be picked up, i still have not received any notice from the mail man saying that I have a package sitting at the post office. I’m unable to pick up on weekend do to bring closed and my work schedule does not go along with the post office schedule. So I guess I just lose out on my package then? And why now, refuse to deliver my mail?

Very disappointed. The mail delivery person leaves a pink note indication trying to deliver a package. It says come pick it up in Grants Pass post office. I travel 15 miles and the lady (SUE) says she can not locate the package. I give her my phone number as she requested. I never get a phone call in return. I call grants pass postal and the number has been disconnected. This is the third time this has happened. Larry West 541 474 4918

Why does the post person deliver a small package one month to the box, and the next month refuses to deliver and says we have to go pick it up? it fits in the box! Also...the note to go pick it up said we could go on 3/28 to get in and 3/28 is a Saturday and the post office is closed? I have to wait til Monday to drive across town to get a package that fits in the box...is the exact same package that has been delivered to box before.

I wasn't aware we evidently don't have a post office any longer. No phone, at least. I'm trying to call because for the second month in a row a payment I've sent to Myrtle Creek (from Grants Pass & Merlin) has not reached its destination. The first one, clearly addressed to Myrtle Creek, came back to my mailbox. It arrived the 2nd time I mailed it. Then I mailed another a week and a half ago and I'm told it hasn't been received. WHAT'S GOING ON?

On two occasions we have seen our postal woman come to our home then drive away. First time we knew a package was coming so my husband followed her and sure enough she had it. She said not enough turn around room in drive way. We have a circle drive. Second time we were there house fully open with contractors at work. She left message could not deliver package tag with no reason marked. This seems like a lazy attitude

Good lord! I am shocked at the rage and even hate pouring from previous comments. Even blaming an "invasion" of colorfully dressed stoned people for what sounds like a complete breakdown of our postal system. This apparently includes an epidemic of postal workers so poorly vetted that they're regularly committing numerous federal crimes carrying severe penalties and getting away with it. Either we're on the brink of complete anarchy here or there are a lot of people who are angry about their circumstances, and because they can't or won't direct their anger at the cause, they find a scapegoat and vent. Hmmm... wonder which it is. Oh yes, BTW, I have an online business and ship items several times per week and never need to step foot in the post office. And although I don't grow or smoke cannabis, I often wear colorful clothes. In my humble but experienced opinion the USPS is the best deal for the money you can get. I love 'em!

Second problem I've had with this woman.. First time she tried to charge me $40 to get my mailbox key and to give me my mail. I had just moved from TX so it's not like I lost it. She threatened to call the police on me until the line behind started chanting "give her her mail" !!! Second time she wouldn't even go look for my package when tracking said it was still there. She just kept saying "I can't help you" my package is still there.,,,,

After the huge flood of transients, weed growers and smokers, not to mention the number of people who moved here to do Internet sales (no sales tax here), our post office is becoming more like the ones I've visited in Central California. At one time, our downtown post office was a civil and respected place, where people would hold the door for the next person, always. It was the custom in this small town for decades. Customers were familiar with the clerks who work slowly and carefully behind the counter, and customer service was outstanding. Yes, the lines are out the door and customers are holding stacks of various sized packages to mail off from Internet sales. Put mildly, colorfully dressed customers, who are half stoned, and definitely culture shocked stand in lines complaining or trying to act nonchalant or overly confident. Our postal clerks continue to give their best at compliance, but people have to realize not all the folks employed by the post office these days are actually employees. Some are temporary employees without retirement plans and other post office benefits.

Huge line with one person working, and she just shoves people out the door rather than helping them. Extremely rude, treated everyone like an idiot and an inconvenience to her- despite people in the line being overly friendly with her and understanding that she was the only one working. There's a sign that says you need to fill out a white form if mail is on hold for you, however there are no white forms available. Everything in the office is in disarray-completely unorganized with torn up posters on the walls. I tried to call the other location on 6th Street twice. The phone rang for ten minutes and then I was hung up on. Very frustrating and I honestly hope I never have to go back there again.

Failure to deliver mail is common, mail goes missing, lies about being unable to deliver are numerous, and on and on. I've seen post offices which are poorly run, but GP takes the cake. I hope Trump sticks to his word about making it possible to fire GOV employees, they need to start with the fraud in GP and clean house. *note Our delivery is not in the city, though it does have a GP address.

My brother sent my a housewarming gifts certified mail. I was not home at the time of delivery. I have been trying to set up a redelivery with the Grants Pass Post Office since 08/11/16. Three phone numbers are listed online, two are disconnected and, the one that does ring, goes unanswered until the line cuts off. I went online, only to be told that my area does not offer redelivery services!! I travel to work 70 miles round trip daily and am unable to be home during regular delivery times, but had arranged for a friend to be at my home for the redelivery.... what a joke this post office is!! ANSWER THE DAGGUM PHONE!!! PROVIDE TELEPHONE NUMBERS THAT ARE WORKING!! I will be requesting all deliveries to go through another source.... hopefully, I will be able to figure out how to get my housewarming gift!! OH. MY. GOSH. THE PHONE WAS JUST ANSWERED AND HUNG UP ON ME - AFTER CALLING TEN TIMES!!!

I think the post office delivery service in grants pass is poor and badly managed no wonder they lose money and are going broke they have no sense of customer service . About six months ago we had a bad snow storm and the heavy snow damaged some of my juniper bushes along the curb where the mail box is they stick out from the curb a little bit I have been waiting for spring to see if they come back. The delivery driver left a notice today giving me 5 days to cut them down or no more mail for me never said a word about it till now and right in holiday weekend seams like a too short notice I am disabled legally and have heart problems seams very harsh for such minor problem I remember when they actually had to work deliver to front porch mail box now they drive around in luxury LLV's with power steering and power brakes and auto transmission complaining and weiding their power aginst old people
