A recent storm in Condon caused closure due to damage from mud flow into the post office building. I just got news that it won't reopen until July 23. We have to go 20 miles to Fossil to pick up or send our mail. I don't know why a temporary situation cannot be set up in Condon. It's going to cost a lot of money to potentially drive 40 miles a day for a month to do post office business, added to the po box fee we're already paying.
