We knew my grandsons gift might not arrive until Christmas Eve but he was ok waiting. We saw online that it was at our local post office in plenty of time to be delivered on Thursday but today is the Sunday after Christmas when we planned to drive the 120 miles back to his house to give him his gift but for some stupid reason it didn't arrive yesterday and now it's not even going to be delivered today. We just saw a post office truck delivering mail but our package is now scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. We need it now! This is ridiculous. Lazy union workers!! Undependable deliveries. Sad state of affairs!

Went to pick up my package from the post office well I couldn’t pick it up. The lady told me that I wasn’t aloud to pick it up had to be delivered by the postman. I been waiting on this package for some time now. It’s a shame the lady didn’t want to do her job and help me.

Not only that, she's probably making $55k-$60k if she's been there a while. Check out the USPS pay scale online. Not only that, but only Congressman and Senators have better benefits. My postman, with whom I was friendly, had a Condo on the beach in Destin and was making about $62k a year. He was with the PS for about 26 years and was in his mid-50s. He retired about two years ago, with full salary, and benefits, including full health coverage. He thought it was funny.

7 glass/pottery items purchased in the last 7 weeks. THREE arrived in pieces and not because they were not well packed. Not sure where the problems lies but you can't actually contact USPS and file a complaint. Called local post office and was told that yes, the USPS's 'help' line is anything but helpful. However, other than telling me he didn't think the problem lay in our post office, wasn't anything HE could do either!! I'd think the USPS would want to know if there is a location that is so rough on boxes, even those marked 'fragile', they'd want to pinpoint where the issue is. It costs them money and costs ME the shipping costs that I don't get back!!

I sent my ex-mother-in-law a $400 antique glass bowl as a get-well present after leaving the hospital. Although it was wrapped in bubble paper and embedded in packing peanuts. Fragile stickers were everywhere. It arrived shattered. When I filed a postal insurance claim, it was denied because the receipt was hand-written on an invoice pad, and my charge receipt didn't specify what was purchased...that the dollars amounts were the same made no difference.

The mail lady out my way is so freaking lazy she can’t even get out of her truck and take 2 steps to put a package on my porch she literally folded it up and put in the mail box knowing it is a Shutterfly order how stupid can someone be everyone knows Shutterfly is pictures now I have to contact them and hopefully they will send me a new one I have had to have multiple packages sent back and replaced because again she is so lazy she will throw my packages on the porch and break the stuff that is in the box they thing that also sucks is I’m not the only person on her rout that complains about this stuff and once again the USPS will do nothing about it.

They just don't care, because there are no repercussions for laziness, rude behavior or anything else untoward they do. They should privatize first class mail and let FedEx or UPS deliver the mail.
