Worst service ever here in Holland. I regularly get packages jammed into mailbox instead of brought to door by lazy mailman. So full he tore the package jamming it in, and was torn more getting it out. Sometimes he'll jam two packages in there. Puts letters in at same time, stinking them all up. I had a certified letter come. He never brought it to my door, which they're supposed to do. Instead, he put a notice in my mailbox saying, "3rd notice", but he never brought the first two. This was put in my mailbox on Friday, which I didn't get until late Friday afternoon, too late to go to the Post Office and it said I had to get it by Monday morning. I was out of town over the weekend, so couldn't get it. This post office is the worst. I see above it says they don't read these reviews. I can see why. They don't care. Today I received a piece of mail that was completely opened!!! You could see it had been sealed, then opened up. The letter wasn't even in the envelope when I got it out of the mailbox. Wow!! Nosy much?

Someone closed my POBox 1 yesterday and it WASN’T me! Doesn’t the person that rents that box have to verify themself to do that? I would like to know how that happened? I will be back in today to straighten this out! Larry Joseph

Called in asking about a package that I put a typo on the day it was supposed to be delivered. I was helped by Michelle who went out of her way to check tracking numbers and the location for the package, sadly it was not found but I was happy with the customer service!

this guy that does mail on kipling dr. is just nasty. he dropped off a package today, I asked if he brought my mail up as well. he says as nasty as can be, no, it's in your box since you called on me. people he likes he honks to let them know the mail is there. he stuffs my box so full that I can move the whole box all over from it being stuffed, even with boxes and mail, and catalogs!! it's shoved so tight that catalogs are torn, ads, and at times my mail. I get other people's mail. he still races through here, one day he's going to hit a kid or an animal. as far as i'am concerned, he can fix it so it's tight again. the one next to me isn't like that. he's cocky, and just plain nasty. wish we had someone else who could get our mail to us before late afternoon, and not nasty with a attitude!!!

I have Had good service for the last eighteen years living in Springfield Township. Now that my Mail Man has retired the delivery has gotten BETTER.! I now get my mail delivered between 10/am and 1/pm. Great ! Thank You. (question) Applied a Mail Delivery motion sensor to my mail box. Is that OKAY with you people. I have a very large mail box for ease of delivery. Thanks Again Keep up the good work.

This postal station is very incompetent !! I have never had sooo many problems getting my mail. It gets delivered to my neighbors, or not at all. All of a sudden NO Mail, tried for three days to call the station,... they don't answer the phone , ended up calling the 800 number, They took my complaint and told me someone from this station would be in contact with me,.... yeah right,... again called the station, OMG , a real nice lady answered the phone !,Told me the carrier put my house down as vacant, news to me!?!? She will have someone call me back,... WHEN? in the mean time STILL NO MAIL! So here I am ,.. no answer AGAIN at the Holland station, on hold with the 800 number. I remember as a young child the old saying ,neither snow or rain nor heat of day will keep your mail away. What happened ?????????? WHERE"S MY MAIL????? You should have to pay all of my late fees!

Only been in Holland less than a year and the USPS here has been not so great. Had no complaints at my previous location elsewhere in Ohio other than occasionally receiving neighbor's mail. On one occasion, mail carrier started a return to sender on an important package for no apparent reason (even the post office didn't know why this had occurred and called it a mistake). This resulted in receiving the package much after the expected due date.

neighbor's mail delivered to our house regularly. Mail forwarding messed up every year. This year supposed to start on 10/14 - mail delivered to our home on 10/14. Went to post office to straighten it out - the lady acted like she didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Said she would check on it and call me - not!!!!! Last year they told me to "tie our mailbox shut" so they didn't deliver mail when asked to forward - duh!!!! Have tried numerous times to call - no answer - Have gotten one piece of forwarded mail in 2 weeks then on Saturday our neighbor called and told us they delivered mail to our home - get someone who wants to do their jobs and maybe someone who can read!!

Same complaints as many other posters here. Wrong mail delivered to my address on nearly a daily basis, though a package may be dropped off at the door the accompanying mail is still left in the mail box, inconsistent delivery time... can vary by as much as several hours! One day we get the mail by 10:30 a.m., the next by 6:00 p.m. Tried to call the Holland Post Office to speak with a supervisor. Despite it ringing for well over a dozen times, no one bothered to answer. It's not even a busy time of year (Christmas, etc.), so why they haven't the time, or ability to answer a phone is anyone's guess. Of course, there's a note on this message board stating "comments below are not read by postal employees". That is certainly one of their major problems. If they did, they may understand a lot needs to be changed with how they conduct business. Judging from all the complaints it appears high time for a complete restructuring of employees and the entire management at this post office. Obviously someone there is not doing their job.

Many issues need addressed and followed through. They are still doing a horrible job after 8yrs. of living in Holland. They need new employees and/or management. They ALL need to be retrained!!! They do NOT come to the door to delivery packages. They just leave a slip in the mailbox and you have to go get it....after they are CLOSED because they deliver so late. Even when I'm home!!! We get our neighbors mail all the time and they get ours! I am home 99.9% of the time and they STILL leave a slip in the mailbox. At the post office there is ALWAYS a line. At least 6 people in line all the time. It takes about 30 min to an hr to wait because they don't have enough help or they chit chat too much. Even when I see people standing in back that can come up and help. I am always getting someone else's mail. Once I got a package that belonged clear down my street so I delivered it myself to them since the office was already CLOSED. Thank goodness I'm honest. They delivery WAY too late. Even Saturdays. I get mail at 4p and they close at noon. What the heck? They also leave the mailbox wide open sometimes when delivering mail. Please work on speeding up the line at the post office. Quit chit chatting and moving slow. Get more help if you can't make those minor changes. Keep 2 windows open not 1! There is always just one open. Learn how to sort mail and get the correct mail to the correct addresses! This week I was home ALL week and they still left a slip. I'm home just come knock on my door or ring my bell. It's not like I have a long driveway. Learn how to deliver packages to the door so that they aren't stolen....it's your job!

Nearly every day we either receive our neighbor's mail (even neighbors living on a different street) and/or our mail ends up at our neighbors. Just today, the post left a note in our mail box saying they attempted to deliver a package...which is difficult to believe given there were no footprints leading from the end of the driveway in the fresh, but thin layer, of snow leading to our doorway. Now my wife has to go to the post office with three children in tow because the mail carrier didn't feel like walking up to our door. I'd pick it up myself, but the post is closed when I get off work. The carrier took the time to write the note, but not walk up to our door. I cringe each time an online order I ships out with UPS but ends up being transferred to USPS.

Holland Zip Code 43528 mail carriers have mixed up mail terribly for 10 years.I have taken off 2 afternoons from work, as 1/2 day vacations, so to meet the Postmaster and hand deliver the bundles of mis-delivered mail back him, in that 10 year period. He was not happy I came in and complained. It still continues. Now a new twist has been added. They only pick up mail at curb side mail boxes, WITH THE FLAG UP, every other day.
