If you have a dog that barks, and who doesn’t, the mail lady won’t deliver to the house. We live in the country. We have had to use our daughters address for packages. Local post master is unconcerned. My father worked for the post offices for 17 years and I was a professional firefighter for 27. Our dog wouldn’t hurt a flee. She needs to get another job. Who’s going to pay for the gas to drive into town. No answer from USPS.

I think The Hillsboro Post Office is very friendly, and helpful. I have received great service since I moved here 5 yrs ago. Although I often have different carriers, my mail arrives on time and they are efficient. As for packages, I've not had any issues!

The Hillsboro, OH post office is the sorriest excuse for a post office. For years since moving to this area, we have experienced nothing but problems with this post office. Our mail frequently is delivered to the wrong address, we often receive other people's mail. The latest, this post office picks and chooses which packages to deliver. If the carrier does not have room in their vehicle or doesn't feel like bringing a package, they simply leave it sit at the post office and do not even attempt to deliver the package. They check "delivery attempted" and give some false reason, several hours before the carrier even delivers the mail for the day. When I called to complain, Curtis was extremely rude and argued with me on everything I said, he was so disrespectful, almost laughing at me and my complaint. I am to the point that I go out of my way to only purchase from companies that do not ship through the Postal Service, to avoid dealing with the multiple issues and the lack of customer service. Other local post offices seem to have much more helpful employees, so I do not go to Hillsboro unless I absolutely have to for something. FedEx and UPS are so much better and actually seem to value their customers. In all of the places I have lived, I have never experienced a post office making so many mistakes, or employees so rude!

Bad service mail carriers won't pick up mail from my mail box even when they say they will and have screwed up several times this week. Even after I called them
