Why does no one ever answer the phone at the Beechwold office in Columbus, Ohio?

I live on Beechwold Blvd and I have been having problems with recieving my mail for the last 18 months. The pieces of mail that I am not getting are always the most important. Mortgage statments, bills and medical information. I have called the only number listed for the post office (614-447-0146) many times and get a recording stating to "enter your remote access code". All of this is completely unacceptable

Was supposed to receive important government mail that was mailed to me on 12/11/20. Does it take 3 weeks to receive now?

Many, many of our Christmas cards, despite being mailed early, have not been delivered! Did you throw them out? 🤬

This is a good location and great staff to help. Sadly poor management is given this place a bad name and I am beginning to lose my trust in Post services. Recently, I have been threatened by the postman named Dimitri I hope I got his named right. He had been delivering our mail for a quite long time. He started asking us to show our house from inside which was strange and bazar approach as a postman as friendly customer I did not mind doing it. Then occasionally, he would ask for a cold beverages ok no problem, you are our postman respect to your wishes, then he started to ask for 5 or 10 dollars for his lunches and such ok let all of this go. Then he asked if we support black lives matter I said we do, then he said he does not believe it until we put a sign in our yard which we did. Now he started to through our packages all over the front porch though we have a nice mailbox and we put a nice bench which is for the big packages to be put away in case there is chance of rain, nothing seems to be working so I tried to reason with him that our mail should be put in a proper manner and he should not leave bunch of rubber bend on floor for us to pick up after his mess. He responded to me that he does not care ok I quietly moved away today he came and dropped an open box and I caught him right on spot and confront him nicely “sir why this box is open he responded not his problem and he does not care”. Well, I took the package to the post office to find out the nature of this negligence Mr. Michael who is a branch manager he did not show any interest in this process which is not acceptable I have warn him to prior incidents that Dimitri is harassing us and I am scared to talk to him But Mr. Michael did not show any concern and simply said we will take care of this. I left open box to the post office which should not be delivered to me according to postal rules and policy anything damaged should have a postal tape saying damaged item.

The employee at the clintonville station post office (male, probably in 50s, with glasses)’s customer service was very inappropriate and absolutely not acceptable. When I had changed my mind about wanting to send in my own package a certain way, he attacked me with a very rude tone saying, “you need to make up your mind,” and complaining about how he needs to reprint the label. While I understand that another label costs more, he did not have to attack me w a rude tone. He also was no help at all - when I asked him how many stamps I needed, he responded, “I don’t know, you figure it out.” I highly recommend that the manager checks up with. The way he treats customers is absolutely not acceptable.

Perhaps I'm being paranoid. But is there a way to check to see if a credit card skimmer has been used on your stamp machine? When I went in Sunday evening, a young man was at the machine, apparently having trouble with his purchase. After a few minutes, he told me the machine wasn't "taking his credit card" and he gave up. But he stayed there while I made my purchase ... with no trouble. After I finished, he went back to the machine. The whole thing just made me nervous, so I wrote down his license plate ... just in case. Don't know how you can check to see if your machine has been tampered with, but I thought I'd contact you ... just in case.

This mediocre service just got worse with a bunch of back room newbies who don't know what they're doing. Someone said they tried delivering my package but I don't think they did. I went to the post office to retrieve it and it's lost "somewhere in the back room." They said they would deliver it today. Another no show. It's no wonder the postal "service" is losing business.

This is *the worst* post office I have evr dealt with, I will never return. I had my mail returned for "insufficient postage" from the riverside location, and so I thought I've mailed it at Beechwold, surely they can handle this, though I have had problems with them not knowing things before. Nope, they insisted it was wrong, and I asked for a manager, and some guy came out and was really rude...refused to give his name...I left and went to Twin Rivers, and they took the mail and agreed the postage was correct. They also told me they think he lied about his name, since he wasn't wearing a badge.
