Woodhaven office can't deliver packages to my address even after specifying where they can leave them. Then, no one answers the phone. This is exceptionally pitiful.

I mailed out a bill to national grid, it was processed but returned back to me; I put it in my mailbox AGAIN to be mailed out and AGAIN it was returned back to me. Tried calling this Post Office after several busy signals (phone probably off the hook); used the 718-296-0891 number it rang several times then someone picked up and then hung up. I called again and a person answered saying she was the supervisor; explained the situation above first she told me to bring it to the Post Office; I told her no that I had marked the envelope Deliver to she will talk to the carrier and hopefully it will be mailed correctly this time.

Apparently we can't list 2 reviews so we have to reply to the original TERRIBLE REVIEW. 10/15/21 Terrible service, I received a package today marked Priority Mail 1-day; addressed to 86-14 98 Street; it was delivered to 96-14 91 Drive. I was injured and have trouble walking can't deliver it myself. Tried calling post office, phone is off the hook as usual kept getting a busy signal; however when I called this number 718-296-0891 it rings and rings someone finally picked up and they HUNG UP; called back and they HUNG UP AGAIN AND AGAIN! Again as usual. They need a new manager/supervisor and staff who can at least read and deliver packages to the correct addresses!

I finally had to go in person to the post office demanded to speak to the manager explained that I received this bill back 3 times and this last time where I had written on the envelope deliver to National Grid it was ripped out by someone in the post office. there were a lot of people on line waiting and they heard what I was complaining about and all nodding their heads agreeing with me. All the supervisor could say was "don't yell at me" I worked for a supervisor and was her assistant and believe me we got yelled at a lot but we had to be polite agree with the person about bad service and would see about correcting the problem. I left the envelope with him and finally told him he will be responsible for getting this mail out and I will be checking with National Grid; who by the way was very understanding about my problem and was keeping an eye out for when the mail was FINALLY delivered correctly.

I don't know why they even HAVE a phone! They sure as hell don't answer it. And then when you do call USPS, the RECORDING starts with a GODDAMN advertisement for some SHIT NOT RELATED to USPS! And if you do not choose to answer the recording or push a button, it hangs up on you. Thanks USPS. You should should be called Useless SHIT Postal Service.

horrible post office. Went for passport I got there 20mins early. The passport lady told me I had to wait for my appointment time, but there was no one waiting. I tried to ask her for a passport application but she kept telling me to wait and was playing on her phone. My 12:30 appointment time comes then she comes out and she smokes a cigarette by the door. Wow lady are you serious?? Now 12:36 she goes back in and calls my name. And asked for my appplcation. I told her I don’t have one and I tried to ask her for one earlier, then she says I’m not going to have time so I have to reschule with a nasty nasty attitude. OMG I hate it there!! She needs to be fired!

In the past few years, it is nearly impossible to get anyone at this branch to answer the phone (718-296-0232)! I call in the morning, noon, evening, and either it has a constant BUSY signal, or if it miraculously does ring, it goes on forever and then it apparently goes into 'fax mode" with an annoying tone! I even tried calling USPS # to try to get an answer or see if anyone 'alive' at this local branch, but the recorded message says" it will take up to 1 HOUR(!) for a representative to answer the phone! What is going on? Whatever happened to customer service? I work in the city and just want to ask them to Hold a certain certified letter till I pick up over the weekend, as I work in the city and by time I get home, this Post office is closed. It seems like even this simple request is impossible to ask for! Why continue raising the cost of supplies/services, if you cannot even get customer service over to phone to ask a simple question?

8642 Forest Prkway, Woodhaven, NY 11421 I had a phone call after six times call then someone received phone and name was Mr. Calvin. He was not helpful about passport renewal appointment . I asked one question and he was very rude and did hang up phone. That is made me very upset about that behavior .

I would like to say I am very disappointed in this federal institution in dealing with clients needs and services and having some ownership in their ongoing issues with incorrect mail and missing packages to the woodhaven community. I have tried numerous countless times to contact the manager in this particular location without any success either due to other associates miscommunication to their manager or lack of follow up in complaints which should be considered with high regard being that it is impacting a whole community and not just one person even though any concern regarding FEDERAL mail should be considered just as important. im not sure who I can contact at this point about any concerns if I am not able to contact the manager at this particular location. I continuously receive other peoples mail and packages which I cannot afford to lose or miss or have time to track down someone elses mistake especially when no ownership is taken. I would really hope that our packages aren't being stolen since they are just always supposedly missing with no one knowing anything about it. I would assume mail being a federal offense if handled improperly should be handled with high care! and receiving mail and packages is very important to me and my family and I think its safe to say to the woodhaven community too especially since I have seen reviews of numerous of people who feel the same exact way. now I hope this would get to someone who cares enough about this issue!

I lose a package from that post office once a week without fail! is someone at the post office keeping my items? I have cameras and the postman keeps saying the package was delivered at this time and date and when I review the camera there was not even an attempt to deliver my items!!1 something is definitely not kosher here I could understand if someone stole the package after it got delivered but after review of video camera no postman at all has reach my front door! how could this continue to happen!
