I stopped by the Fleetwood post office this morning. First of all the doors didn’t open till 9:06. Then the nasty woman opens the door yelling every one back up 6 ft. With out her masks as we entered she’s carrying on so I asked her where’s your mask? She replied, go &$&@ yourself I ain’t serving you! Tell who ever you want so I replied go “:&& your self!!! Clearly she’s on drugs or something. I’m sure this is not he lr first run in with people.

15 S 1st Ave, Mount Vernon, NY 10550 The man working the window, i don't know how name because he had it covered, was so rude. i dealt with him twice. on 8/1/23 and 8/2/23 and both times he had an attitude as if he had somewhere better to be. i had a missed delivery and i get packages sent to me because of my wedding. registry gifts, decorations, supplies etc. FIRST OF ALL THE DELIVERY PEOPLE SUCK AT DELIVERING. in all my delivery instructions, i add leave at apartment door. the door to my apartment. they don't even make it up to the front door sometimes. and packages arrive broken. dealing with this post office is the worst. but this man was worse than that. the delivery people is just a minor inconvenience. the man at the window was an ass. looked like he was ready to fight fully on defense mode as if he was waiting for me to be rude. when i saw him yesterday i was caught off guard and gave attitude but cause he served it first. but i calmed down and just wanted to answer a question. HE WAS ALREADY CALLING NEXT IN LINE. there was all of 1 person there and 2 windows open. he didnt want to answer my question. so the next day i brought in all the things i needed, and he still didnt want to help me. he shut me up and asked for my phone with the delivery info on it. then asked for my ID and took it to the back for like 5 minutes. i guess he didnt want to write down the name and address and wanted to use my ID for refrence but 5 minutes is enough time to make a copy. any ways. the man working the window at 8:30 am on 8/2/23 needs to be fired. this whole postvoffice needs retraining

I do not understand why my mail is still being forward from 412 Warwick Ave 10553 to the address in Ocala, FL 34481. Why can't you get these situations resolved? About a month ago I sent numerous emails concerning the cancellation of an address change. I'm tired of this!!!!

This letter is in response to the second time the Postal person has claimed they delivered my package to Levistor ;my packages where not delivered; NO WAY!!! I will make every effort to locate my packages; Eyewitness News will help me!! With my Search I just can’t put our money and receive no good

I have an eBay order that’s been at this post office for almost a month now and when I call they just let the phone ring. I’d like them to ship my item or explain the issue so I can resolve it.

The new mail delivery person keeps putting the wrong mail in our box. When I brought it to her attention , she said "SO?" with a shrug and kept walking. How do I report this person? I am not the only one. On our block we seem to be doing her job!

I have zero tolerance for rude employees especially of any state or government entity. On March 10, 2021, I rented a P.O. Box from S 1st Avenue post office in Mt. Vernon, NY and to date May 18, 2021, not one mail in the box. Everything keeps coming to my old address (even though I filled out a Change of Address Form) and all I hear from them is either "no supervisor is here for me to talk to" or they're seeing more than one change of address forms. Well after I did the first one and in April I had to go and check out why I wasn't receiving mails in the P.O. box, that's when a clerk told me to fill out another form correctly to have the problem fixed. SO yes I filled out the forms twice in the space of a month to have a problem rectified. Now a rude and very dismissive 'supervisor' (Tawanda Konagray) who doesn't take time to or was just not interested in listening to a paying customer's issue, kept asking me for Ids, telephone number and other questions (for which I complied and obliged), but it would not answer the one question I asked, "WHY WAS I {STILL} NOT GETTING MAILS IN A BOX I PAID FOR - 2 months later?" I asked for the service to be cancelled and money to be refunded and was only refunded half ('post office policy'). The WORST post office in MOUNT VERNON, NY. One day this past winter, all my neighbour's mail came in our box. Makes me wonder where my mails end up sometimes, because for sure, there are mails I have not received and have had to ask for it to be mailed again. Long lines inside the post office with 2 clerks (sometimes 1). Then they cry when they are out of a job and unemployed.

Since the phone seems never to be answered, I wonder why this post office has a phone. I am out of the area at this time, and my mail is being returned to senders. I have no way to contact anyone to find out what can be done to stop this. Therefore, I can only rate the service as being extremely mediocre, and certainly not on a level expected from a professional team of workers. Are they all beginners?

Some people are not going to work out, that's why the U.S.P.S. has a pro- bationary period? And some are Temps, so instead of complaining take a pro-active position remember that the person is new, lazy or disgruntled? Then ask yourself, what are the odds of receiving my mail and the answer will always be the same 50/50? Just like living to see tomorrow? May God help us all?

I am very upset and angry with the service at this post office on 15 South first Ave, the worker's don't know how to talk to the public especially the supervisor. They miss place your mail . they keep putting my mail in other mail box. I made a complaint and the same thing keep happening I am frustrated with this behavior. I need them to learn to deal with the public with respect.

I'm waiting on my package, when I check my tracking # it said they were at my house to deliver. I checked my surveillance camera and realized that no one was there. My daughter was home all day plus they did not leave a receipt that they were there. I reschedule delivery 3 times, still did not get my package. Called 800 # they put in a service request and told me to go pick up the package the next day., I went and a very rude clerk that didn't noticed that she had a full line of people waiting on her while she was sitting around doing nothing told me that my package is not there, I should come back the next day. I am not going back I've waited more than an hour just to hear my package is not there. There were three other people in front of me all came in for package and didn't receive them. This post office is a disgrace needs to be locked down

Lived in Mount Vernon for 5 years and I am so disappointed with this post office. The carriers are the laziest. You can’t get a package you clearly paid for, including shipping charges. They have a system where they automatically say it’s delivered and it’s not. I went down on serval occasions because of the same crap. Oh they say it’s still on the truck after 5 days. And knowing they sent me a slip to pick up at the post office They will not do a second attempt? Really? You never did the first! I report it every time to companies I purchase from and get a refund or have them reship by FedEx or any other company that’s not affiliated with the post office. I let them know if the package isn’t returned to them they should consider it as theft and start investigation against this post office. Some of The post office employees are lazy or incompetent and should not be on a payroll. Sad and True.

hello ... can I register the car and the license plates there?

12/292020 at 3:30 pm At 129 South 4th Ave. I watched the post office truck pull up. Waited by phone to ring to give him access to building. Bell never rung. Went back to window and watch him jump back into truck with package in hand. So I go downstairs and check mailbox right away nothing. He wrote left on from porch or at door. He never left it I have front window and seen exactly how he jumped back in his truck with my package. I always track packages and always home watching out. Post Office refuses to pick up phone so people can file a complaint. Is anyone aware of who I can contact? Because this is considered theft.

I live in mount Vernon and for the past two days nobody in my neighborhood got mail delivered???

How do you not have postcard stamps?!! HOW?!! Is this a post office or not? Post cards are not ao rare of an item that you cant have stamps for them. You suppose to sell the darn stamps!

Our Mail is not being delivered to the appropriate houses on South Terrace. I called the customer care center to complain they took notes (2 times so far) and told me someone from the post office on first street in Mt Vernon would get back to me. A supervisor just called me and asked me what the problem was and I told him our mail on south Terrace was being delivered to other peoples houses and that this is the second time I am complaining about the problem. My neighbor is receiving all my mail and delivering my mail to me not the mailman. I also have had other peoples mail from my block delivered to me and I have had to deliver it to them. This has happened three times and we (my neighbors and I) have complained before to the post office, but the same issue of not receiving mail is still happening. The other problem is when the supervisor for the carriers called me he said to me that "he needed to talk to the carrier to find out if this is happening/whether or not the mail carrier actually delivered mail to the wrong house." I said really... you don't believe me! He said "the carrier will tell me the truth if he didn't deliver the mail to the right home." I could not believe my ears to find out that the supervisor for the carriers at first street in Mt Vernon was questioning what I was saying about not receiving my mail. Why on Earth would I lie about that! He began speaking to me in an unprofessional manner continuing to vouch for the carrier and I told his butt-off for questioning my integrity. I do not have the time to listen to foolish unprofessional people and I am so disturbed with the lack of professional behavior at this post office especially the mail carrier system, the supervisor on down. How can this terrible situation be fixed? If we cant depend upon the USPS then why do we have them?????

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE BUSINESS....ACCORDING TO YOUR BUSINESS YOUR HOURS START FROM 8:30. I COME TO YOUR OFFICE WITH A $20 TO PURCHASE ONE STAMP. AFTER STANDING THERE AND WAITING FOR PASSPORTS TO BE PROCESS FOR 20 MINUTES ON THE LINE ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY DON'T HAVE ANY CHANGE TO ACCOMODATE THE PURCHASE I NEEDED. YOU ARE A OPERATING POSTAL SERVICE THAT STARTS EARLY AND BY 10:00AM YOU DON'T HAVE ANY CHANGE OF A TWENTY. AND TO BE TOLD BY YOUR STAFF CAN I USE MY DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD. YOUR STAFF STINKS!!!! THE POSTMASTER IS NEVER THERE!!!! AND THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH PEOPLE WORKING. 5 WINDOWS WITH ONE WORKER WHO IS MOSTLY THE FIRST ONE THERE. THEN THE OTHER 2 OF YOUR WORKERS COME STRAGGLING IN AND HAVING A CONVERSATION. I THINK YOUR OFFICE SHOULD BE CLOSED THE ********* DOWN!!!!!!!!!!

This has to be the worst post office I’ve ever encountered. They loose packages. They mark items as delivered to mailbox and nothing is ever located. They mark items as available for pickup and when you go to retrieve your item. Nothing is available. It’s utterly disgusting! And it’s infuriating. You pay for products never receive them and because it’s marked as delivered to mailbox. You are out of money and product. Disgusting service. Thieves.

Package ready for delivery notice left, package not found at substation indicated. Directed to the main post office in town after a 30 minute wait. Given a telephone # that is never answered. Went there, asked for the right window for the delivery supervisor, found no one at the window for 15 minutes. Others in the back could see me but ignored me. The supervisor eventually came, took my telephone number and package barcode #. He never called. GO FEDEX.

Missing packages very often lately ~ Getting other people’s mails. Mailman should be more careful distributing mails snd packages. Very stressful not getting mails and packages properly.

They never answer the phone

Many of our residents' checks are being returned to the bank because "address is unknown!" We have been here for over 67 years! Our residents are not receiving important documents/bills such as mortgage bills and car registration renewals. This is unreal. I call the PO many times and no one answers! Very frustrating. My residents deserve much better than this!!!!!!!

Disappointed in Mount Vernon P.O. on 1st. Can seem to find package and never picks up phone. What and why are u guys still open for business for.

It would be nice to simply get someone on the phone. So frustrating

The mailman drops off mail, doesn't take my company's outgoing mail and instead, picks up UPS packages left on another desk. I am trying to just get a person at the P.O. on the phone and it's impossible. There's no mystery as to why the USPS is going to be nonexistent soon.

I am so disappointed by the service at the Mount Vernon postal office on 1st street. As stand on the line to check for a package that was indicated delivered yesterday. Customers expressed out loud that the office inconsiderate and rude. They describe it as "ghetto". I then observe the attended walk away from the window as she waved her hands in the air, although there was a line that extended past the entrance. When I am arrive to the service window, I was informed that my package could not be located and there was nothing they could do. I do understand the challenge of delivering packages during the holiday time, however, when the attendant tells me that the package was delivered to a mail box, I was taken back, because there is no mailbox at the delivery address. I guess the longer you live the more you learn.
