This review is for an incident that happened in July 2021, one that I am still upset about. I submitted a denied claim for reimbursement for a package that was never delivered by the Highland Falls post office. You claimed the carrier placed the package on the stoop, where anyone walking by on the sidewalk could pick it up. The package should have been placed up on the porch, which is where the mail is normally delivered and out of sight from the street. The claim was for $100 and the package was never delivered due to post office negligence. An elderly 91 year old woman lives here and can not walk well.
