My mother had an appointment for passport. The only person working was this Asian lady. She was so rude to my mother who is 79 years old. When my mom asked something, this lady responded like,’ I am not repeating any words I said’. So unprofessional. She is not friendly at all. I wonder why she’s still there. She can’t be working in front if she is nasty to the customers.
Postal Employee: Dwayne at Floral Park location went out of his way
to assist me today, Mon. Dec. 18. I'm in Orlando, Fl and made an error on the street number of the Priority Mail package I sent to my granddaughter, Chloe Kellogg. It was my error and he was kind enough to locate the package & said he corrected my error on the street number. After all his trouble, she will receive the package today. I could not be more thrilled about the service Dwayne provided to me today. Now it will be a Merry Christmas.
Prior to Jan. 2017, Floral Park Post Office was very good with mail delivery and services. For whatever reason, now my mail is not delivered for more than 3 days at a time and mail is simply missing. Called to advise post office and they claim they will address the issue. We shall see.
Been calling for hours trying to get appointment for passport renewal. The phone is not answered. I'm a handicapped senior. This is the floral Park post Office I'm trying to reach. Their info says you must call for appointment.
Just went to appointment for passports with husband who took off work. We had to wait 2 weeks for this appointment and guess what....the 1 and only clerk competent to help us was out sick. Don't bother going there to get your passports.
This is one of the worst post offices on Long Island. Don't try getting a passport done here without an appointment even if they are not busy. Laziness is the only thing they are good at, from the manager to the desk clerks.
Completely agree!!! I also had a bad experience with the clerk and manager when trying to renew my son's passport. We waited on line for 20 minutes , but then realized we were missing a picture so we called to have someone rush and bring the picture to complete the application. The manager refused to take my son's application for being seconds late (the picture arrived 30 seconds late!). He told us to go to the Roosevelt Field P.O. branch as an alternative or come back another day. The Manager should be fired!!! Customer service at this location sucks!!!
