Someone needs to look into this Post Office in Mesquite ,Nevada. I made an appointment to process a Passport and I live in Las Vegas and that was the soonest I could get in to apply for a Passport for my husband and I. We went in there we each had a 15 minute appointment. My husband received his passport within the 3 months period and I received a letter stating that a page was not signed so I had to make another appointment with the Mesquite Post office. Waited 3 weeks for that appointment. Come to find out the clerk that assisted us in processing are our paperwork for the Passport did not sign the last page. Good thing we had not booked our vaction. I had a friend that received a letter regarding her passport that a whole page was missing . This post office mails all this information to the main passport branch in another state to be processed. This post office in Mesquite needs be retrained in how to process information to obtain a passport.

Today I received a package today. It was a Carpet Shampoo machine. However it was left out in front of our garage. It was not visible from our house. Someone could have drove up and taken it without us knowing it. If the mail person cannot carry it because of the weight, then maybe it should have been delivered by truck. Not by our regular mail carrier.

I have just moved to Mesquite and I have never seen such incompetence as exists at this post office. My mail is been delivered to the wrong address 50% of the time. The clerks are UNBELIEVABLY RUDE! I had mail on hold at my former residence and when I called the post office a person called Train asked me what could she do to help. I asked to speak to her superior and she said she has no superior! I will pursue getting someone to handle my problem .

Post office is a complete joke and the delivery people are no better! They are always delivering my mail to other addresses and don't take any responsibility. I'm constantly having to go ask neighbors if they received certain items of mail because they get marked as delivered but I never see them.

This post office is trash, doesn't follow protocol. And genuinely doesn't care about the population. I have a p.o. box there I don't get my mail I get everyone else's and everyone else gets mine. The clerks are abhorrent, I watched one say this exact statement to an elderly gentleman. I have it recorded on my phone. "You are just old confused and you have no clue what you want old man so just pay what I tell you to or leave'' the post master is a joke and does not take his job seriously. I know what serious should look like as I have a direct family member that is a post master. But I can tell you, letting random people walk around the whole post office is not allowed, especially strangers he has never met such as my father. This place needs a total clean out and to start from scratch. My mom could do a better job alone, then the entire staff of this place.

This message is for Annette. I just moved to Mesquite from Henderson. I had a bit of trouble with my new mailbox key and went to the PO to resolve the problem. Everyone was very nice. My carrier, Luis, called me and arranged to meet me at my box. He showed me how to work the new key ( it was a little stiff and I had been too impatient to smooth off the burrs) and was very understanding!!

Their customer service stinks. The do not take responsibility for mistakes and just make excuses. I had four packages sent back to sender. I was home and my other mail was being delivered. I called and alerted them to the fact that they keep sending my packages back to sender and asked about who was going to pay for all the shipping costs and they said they would write me a letter. This is actually from the post master. Very sad!!

I spend a lot of time in P.O. in several states. By far the employee's in Mesquite, NV are the most helpful, friendly and courteous! They should be an example for other emplyee's on how to great and deal with the public!! They are amazing emplyee's and should be commended for that!! Can't wait to return for there awesome service's! !
