No one answers the phone although it's open during open hours. I get the wrong mail often. This last week I did not receive a package although it stated in my email it arrived. Evidently the package was put in the large box/package locked box, but no key was left. I swept my mailbox with my hand after taking my mail out on Friday, Saturday, Monday but no key. Monday I went to this post office to inquire and show the package arrived email, but no package, no key. The clerk told me to go to the usps.com website and fill out thr form. Went to my car, tried to find the form, couldn't find it per her instructions. Went back in, spoke to same clerk. She tried finding it, couldn't. She told me she'd copy the paperwork 1 page I had. Told her they could have it. She asked me to write my name, address and phone# on the sheet. She then took the sheet and as she walked to the back she said "she would leave it for a supervisor and they had 48 hours to contact you". That was Monday morning. By Wednesday I still had received no call, no package as of Tuesday. Delivery to this cluster box is usually after 12:15 pm. I went back to this post office on Wednesday. Explained I received no call to the same clerk I had two days earlier. Her attitude was completely different from her helping me two days earlier and said: "I told you to go online and fill out the form". That comment by her started a verbal match! I told her NO, she did NOT tell me to fill out a form, that even she could NOT find the form to fill out on usps.com, and had me leave my printout, write my name, address and phone # and that I would receive a call in 48 hours. Her mouth became a flame which ignited my total disgust as I do not allow people to talk to me the way this employee did. She then told me if I didn't like the "FREE SERVICE" I could go online and get my mail some other way. Yes siree, a serious mouth issue! I left, checked my mail box on my way home, found the KEY in my box and got the package. I drove back to the post office and let the same clerk know I got the package and the key was located to the rear of my box. Her reply: As long as it's in your mail box it makes no difference where it's at. Then she added: HAVE A NICE DAY! I did not reply. What she missed was although I found the key and got the package - the key was NOT in my mailbox the day the package was delivered that previous Friday, nor Saturday when I swept the box with my hand, nor Monday when I swept the box, nor Tuesday when I swept the box. I think the package was in the big lock box BUT the carrier forgot to leave the key. When the carrier read my paper left at the post office thr carrier realized there was NO KEY for me to open the big box/package lock box. But the clerk just had to keep opening her trap.

This post office in Gardnerville will not pick up the phone. Our packages were returned as "unknown address" and when we called they told us that we had to go to the P O in person to verify homeownership. So we did. Filled the forms out and all was good for a month. Now our mail and packages are sent back to sender again. We are out of town and have tried calling the Gardnerville P O for two days straight and no one will pick up.

I've been trying to get in touch with the gardenerville ranchos in Nevada post office and I think they're too busy to answer their phone and I totally get that but I have a situation. my address is 629 Adeline way gardnerville Nevada 89460 and I just got out of the hospital and now I'm at home in quarantine and I need my mail. Is it possible to have my letter carrier drop my mail off and a bag or something on my doorstep? 775/309/8797

Unreal, I have a merchandise delivery (confirmed delivered), sitting somewhere else. I checked my box, nothing! Not even a large parcel box key. The US Postal driver was sitting in the Trinity Luthern parking lot, on his phone after the delivery! Today I called both 395 and Kimmerling, several times without a response! Useless! Minden PO, is so much better!

I was awaiting the delivery of a package all day. It was supposed to arrive yesterday, but I check the tracking info and it said it was out for delivery but would be late. This morning I checked tracking again - it said "Out for delivery - by 9:00 PM." My garage was open, I was in the garage, the outside lights to the house were on, and at 8:00 PM I checked tracking again. It said "Delivery Attempted - No access to delivery location." There is this thing called I driveway that I have . . . plenty of access for any kind of vehicle, no snow or water to deal with either. UPS, FedEx and Amazon never have a problem with it.
