I work in Springfield and I mail personal things from the office and sent to the PO in Springfield not only my grand kids money was missing they sent the card empty with no money even though it was only $5 dollars ... with the corona virus thing going on I sent to my daughter in the mail in a legal envelope inside was mask and gloves which I wet and seal and tape legal envelope and they took that too .. my daughter never received the envelope it’s been 2 weeks .. my office manager sent birthday cards with gift cards and that was stolen too.. I don’t know why this happens in PO in Springfield but those mail people who worked are taking money and stuff that’s not address to them which it’s federal offense but I will never use this place unless I put ins on it I don’t care if it’s cost me $1.00 thieves they should be ashamed for doing that to people we trust the mail company and this what they do..

I have had two interactions with the management team at the Springfield NJ Post Office, both resulting in them telling me that in order to get service such as resuming hold mail, it is not enough to complete the form at the usps website, but that I should sit and wait for the carrier to come to my home and "establish a repore" with him so that he will be more inclined to follow the directions to hold and then redeliver mail! The Carrier Supervisor, whose name was Glen, was screaming and yelling and talking over me so many times that I finally told him to let me know when he was finished so that I could speak. I will be contacting the Postmaster, directly.

I agree as well. I have received prices higher their for a package then I get in Union or Summit. It is also just set up poorly. I go to Summit or Union instead now. They are also much more pleasant at those other , much busier, post offices.

I agree. Worst post office ever. I tried to book an appointment for my passport application. They gave it after bit reluctance after 10 days. While I was on phone, another lady in background saying "No, dont give an appointment". After I hang up, they call me up to cancel my appointment, saying they are not doing it after until January (today is 19thDec). Go to westfield. Wow!! Why they even exist.
