Postal Locations

I have been waiting on a Gift Card that was mailed to me from my office in Mount Arlington NJ. Post dated December 3rd. I just got it today. December 28th. It took 25 days to get here. Are you kidding me. I know the mail is a little backed up but this is unacceptable. All my co-workers got their cards within a week. Yes they all live in other surrounding towns. ☹

WORST POST OFFICE EVER, I THOUGHT IRVINGTON POST OFFICE WAS TERRIBLE BUT SPARTA TAKES THE CAKE. WORST POST OFFICE EVER.....

I waited in line for a half hour and finally made it to the counter five minutes before closing. The clerk noticed I had several certified mail envelopes (all completed and ready to go but for postage and red stamp on the slips by the clerk). He said he couldn't possibly take me and needed to help all the people behind me before they closed so I needed to leave the line. I objected and asked why I should have to leave after I had waited like everyone else to be serviced. He just kept repeating he couldn't process me at this late time and said he'd go get someone to help me. He brought his manager who told me the same thing - that they wouldn't help me because it was too late. I explained the envelopes needed to be postmarked today and that it was ridiculous that just because I had something they didn't want to process that I had to leave. He said I could help myself over at the self-serve kiosk. Turns out he did that just to get me out of line because that kiosk does not service certified mail envelopes. Rude and ridiculous.

Mail not picked up at The Printing Center - have priority mail that needs to go. No one answers phone at Sparta PO. 800 number has an hour wait!!!

Sent a Certified/Return Receipt - Said delivery was made, however, my green Signed Return Receipt was sent to an address other than mine. I need that signed receipt. I paid $7.57 for this service - ha! Also, why is it that no one knows, nor can contact the Post Master of this facility?Years ago, it was proudly stated in the lobby who our Post Master was.

We ordered a passport renewal, it arrived today (5/16/16) and the priority mail envelope was bent over and stuffed in to the post box so that the post box door was left fully open ... this was a passport guys ... if you don't have postmen (this was more of a boy) that can deliver mail with care then perhaps you should find more that do!!! ... good job I was home before rain came and soaked the passport through!
