I came in today for passport photos. The woman working there was professional, helpful and pleasant. Thank you!

I was physically threatened by “Debbie” at this location. I was paying for my passport application for my two young children and when I reached over to hit “receipt” for my cc transaction, she said “don’t do that unless you want to pull back your had with no flesh on it”… in front of my wife and two young children. Is this acceptable to the US Post office?

Horrible experience with the two clerks at the counter on 2 occasions this week. Friday 4/9 at 3PM went in to mail some letters and package. Both clerks stood there and stared at me. I had to ask if they would be able to help me. The gentleman said “yep and motioned for me to come over” and every time I spoke he pretended not to understand what I was saying. He threw my receipt and change at me! He was so rude that my young daughter who was with me at the time asked “what is wrong with these people.” Right behind us another customer walked in and both clerks greeted her with laughter and hellos and asked to help her right away. Same with the customer before us. Maybe ironic that Clerk #3 the gentleman and the other clerk lady were African American but clearly displaying discrimination by treating me and my daughter of Asian decent with disregard while acting completely different to the white and African American woman behind us. The clerks at this location need training and must be held accountable for acting racist and disrespectful to Asian residents of the community.... sad that this happened twice this week at this post office in front of my young children. Hope that someone contacts me and let’s me know what action will be taken to educate the staff at the post office.

Hi, usually i don't comment... But, enough is enough! Today someone ring my door bell, with my mortgage payment, that the mail lady just lost! Was in the street, all wet, and lost! This is not acceptable! Although they are very rude, my daughter always say " good afternoon, and they look at her, like she is an alien! There is more... but today is not acceptable, and very bad.

I signed for a parcel post, but somehow there was a mix up at the post office. I called the postal service in town, and I got a special delivery from the main head man at this office and he delivered it on his off hours. Thanks U S P S. Great town to get your stamps too.

Here's one: A certified letter was sent to me from the next town over (Union), and it took 12 days to deliver. Inside, was a time sensitive, 10-day meeting notice, that affected my property. When I inquired what happened, the supervisor, Carol, could not have been less helpful or more rude. Hard to believe an outfit like this can lose $6 billion a year, right ?

Scotch plains post office has the most rude and disrespectful stuff in nj. Especially the guy with tiny eyebrows. It's unbelievable that no one controls their behavior. They treat costumers very very awful. I wished I could report their mean behavior to someone who is in charge of them. They have the worse costumer service ever.

I totally agree with you. You just expressed my opinions about them. They are horrible. I am also planning to make a complain and trying to find the head of them. If you find a person who`s in charge please post here.
