20 plus year patron of Lumberton Post Office. Longtime Employee with first initial "J" deserves every Employee award the United States Postal Service bestows on its employees. Lumberton patrons of Main Street Post Office, were subjected to rude and unprofessional behaviors, meted out by two employees, who apparently no longer serve at the counter. About six weeks ago, I noticed a new employee at the counter, I engaged in conversation conversation and extended a warm welcome. Demeanor appeared professional and was quite a welcome change from past experiences. I announced my pleasing encounter to a family member, who also frequents Lumberton Post office and to my dismay, my family member's experience was similar to the unprofessionalism demonstrated by past employees. Needless to say, I was shocked and in total disbelief. A day or two later, due to a mail delivery problem, I called Lumberton Post to inquire how to contact the carrier Supervisor. Well, it was like "a blast from the past" the nice new employee - turned into "a ghost" from past - unprofessional. It was as if the training was given and received from the same employee play book manual. The only difference the rude demeanor this time is passive aggressive nice nasty. The new employee refused to give the post office location or telephone number of the carrier supervisor. I as told that there are no carriers in Lumberton Post Office and I should search the internet to find my information. When I asked for the Postmaster, he was not available. I was told to call back in ten minutes. I filed a complaint with USPS instead of calling back.

I leave in Meadow Glenn...So apparently this is the second time , the same rude mail man doesn't want to get out of the mail car to drop my mail off if my contractors truck is parked in front of the mailbox....How lazy can you be ????my husband even went towards the mailman as we saw him driving to get the mail , instead he swerved off and left ... without giving us the mail , again. Since when do mail man not get out the car to deliver mail????

Not happy with service. Sometimes find mail for others in my mail. When misdirected mail is left for re delivery to correct addressee not always picked up. Mail within same town can vary on delivery date- in my neighborhood sometimes 1-2 days after others in town receive same mail-doesn't make sense how that could be.
