Hope the Mayor of Harrison see all of these complains and FIRE the staff. Too many complains. Not even a single compliment. It’s the Mayor blind?

I was just at this TERRIBLE place! The postmaster is rude and nasty. If she does read this, I openly admit that I was rude right back. When I presented my POA papers she basically said that I created them. Sure because I have nothing better to do on my lunch than go to the post office with registered letter slips to steal my mother's mail. She actually had the nerve to ask me why my mother can not get the mail herself! As if it is her business, my mother is VERY ill. She isn't home fanning herself and eating bob-bons sending me out for mail! When I flung the card back at her and told her to send it back to sender, she told me that I'll never get mail. I wasn't informed that I was in the presence of the mail God! I have picked up mail with teh same exact papers before, I have taken thousands of dollars out of banks, signed legal documents all with the same papers. I guess she was looking for DNA or stool samples?! This is the everyday face of the Harrison Post Office, no wonder people dread going into that place!

Some of them, i have to say, are very rude, this is due to the fact that: lacking of proper education. I waste almost 2 hours to get my mail posted out. one of the lady was trying to pick a hole in my writing and attempting to delay my process by ignoring me. nice job done.

Made me come to post office FOUR times to pick up my package! You lady staff wants my student ID in the first time. After I brought my student ID in second time, the lady changed her mind into ask for my other pieces of mail to prove I live in my address. After I brought my mail to prove that, she changed her mind again into ask for my passport!! And she answered my question by keep saying "hey! I'm the boss". Is your service attitude is answer questions by telling "I'M THE BOSS" ?!

I have been going to this PO for over 25 years. The counter staff at this facility has always been, and continues to be, the worst ever. Unfriendly, sense of entitlement, major attitude, and they act as if you're bothering them by bringing your business to them.
My last visit a week ago was no exception: The service counter was supposed to be open at 8:30am when I walked in at 9:15am. The counter was not open and there was a long queue starting form. You could hear them talking and joking behind the steel gate as if nothing was wrong. Meanwhile, the line kept getting longer and customers came in and immediately walked out upon seeing the line. Then when they were good and ready (around 9:30), they finally opened the gate.
With these types of employees working for them, no wonder the USPS is doing so much financial. I try to avoid going there as much as possible. If it were any other business, the counter personnel would have been replaced years ago. Instead of being grateful to have a good paying job and doing it proficiently (which includes being courteous to paying customers), they behave as they are entitled to that job and no matter what the do, they can't be fired.

I would like to file a complaint against the staff in this facility. I've made an appointment to apply for a US passport on 7/19/13 the first person i spoke to was a young African-American worker who was absolutely rude made me feel as if i was bothering her, i gave her all my paperwork that i already knew i needed to send in since I just talked to the Federal Passport Officer to find out what i needed to submit, she looked at me as if i was crazy, then she didn't want to read any of my documents. She gave me so much attitude she proceeded with calling a tall grey haired gentleman with a ponytail and she said " can you take care of her? cuz i have no time for that!" rolling her eyes the whole time... When i started talking to the man he was another one who didn't care to hear me out. i beg them to please submit all my paperwork including my father's US citizen certificate and he just wouldn't budge until towards the end he said " I'll attached your dad's certificate if it makes you feel better" 2 weeks later i received i letter from Department of State National Passport Center requesting for all the other documents that i had with me that day;but the staff refuse to send in. Now i have to wait even longer it was just a waste of time and money. and incidents like this shouldn't happen.they should do their job and stop acting as if they were INS agents.they all look tired and bothered to be there. maybe is time to change the staff. I'm pretty sure there are thousands of people out there wanting a job.
