wondering if the Post Master of this office in Bloomfield actually cares or has the desire to provide good mail delivery service.

Having worked as a customer service manager, theUSPS service in the handling of my account, is nothing short of atrocious. Given the fact that my mother had passed away on January 29, 2023, I have been required to stay in Long Island to handle the affairs of the estate. As such, I filed a forwarding mail request to commence February 1 and end on February 27. Outside of mail that was shipped on or before the confirmation request, I had received about a half dozen pieces of mail directed to me in the last 30 days. On February 9, I called the Bloomfield office to state that I had not received a piece of mail at the Massapequa, NY address where I was staying. I was told that I made a wrong choice for the Post Office is slow and probably wouldn’t go into effect until after the mail forwarding period had ended. Not only did I cite that I got a confirmation number but when I returned to Bloomfield, several weeks ago, to insure that my pipes wouldn’t freeze, I had received a piece of mail at my Bloomfield address, confirming the forwarding mail request. It was rather apparent that the woman I spoke with possessed the lethal combination of apathy and incompetence and was resistant to rectifying the problem caused by the USPS. Having told her that I was awaiting legal documents and a check for over $10,400, I had the clerk say that she would talk to the carrier to have the mail forwarded to me. Since this was a Thursday afternoon, ai thought I would be receiving mail by Saturday. Not only was there no follow through, I received an email that my medication was delivered on Tuesday February 14 to my Bloomfield address. Livid, I called the (800) phone number to describe this fiasco. Of course, the Bloomfield office needed three days to investigate their incompetence and I was told that the mail would be forthcoming to Massapequa and cease on February 27. Now that I have been back in Bloomfield, I have yet to receive a piece of mail and was just told that the name on my mailbox was missing. While I am not prone to accuse parties of behaviors that I don’t have the facts on, I have lived in Bloomfield for 19 years and have never had a problem with the name on my mailbox disappearing. The manager of the complex will put my name on the mailbox tomorrow. While it is the first mailbox on the left, should I be concerned that in the last thirty days, I have received about a half dozen pieces of mail at the two addresses? The $10,400 check, written on February 2 was received on February 22. The failure of the clerk to redirect my mail resulted in me being out of one of my medications. If this is not incompetence, please redefine it.

My daughter scheduled pick ups to be sent for January for late Christmas gifts. They scheduled this 3 times to be picked up. Mail carrier would not take even though PO said he would, no one that was scheduled came, took her money though & not refunded yet, now saying still processing. We will have to drop off. Poor service with this. She has made at least 8 phone calls. They called back once, left a message to call them back. She did but no answer the last 2 days.

Our packages, especially the ones that come in boxes featuring any company name or logo, are sometimes opened, rifled through and items taken. It’s you guys. There at the post office. Is there anyone there with any concern with the law? Do you have cameras? Are you checking out your employees? I work hard for my money and I’m excited when I order something nice day from a makeup store or a clothing brand. I look forward to getting it just to find it opened up and rifled through. I’m sure you could give a shit but I truly hope whoever does this gets caught, fired and prosecuted.

It's been a month since I've not received any mail from the Bloomfield post office. And this past Christmas holiday, I received my holiday cards from last Christmas this year. It seems that someone is not delivering mail properly. I'm waiting to hear back from them.....

Constant wrong delivery of next door neighbor's mail. We don't trust our neighbor and fear what they may do if they should get our personal information. Spoke to Tony at the branch in Bloomfield. He was very polite and said he would talk to the carriers.

Still getting the neighbor's mail. I am keeping a file of the years this has been happening.

I am very upset with the person delivering today's mail (Not our regular mail carrier). Because my dog came to the door, she chose to leave without leaving the mail. If I hadn't gone out to thank her (not realizing that she didn't leave the mail) we would not have gotten mail. My 83 year old father's prescription was in that mail. He would have had to wait until Monday to get it. I understand that the dog scared her, but she could have rang the bell and stood at the bottom of the steps. Not just walk away without leaving the mail Plus, a letter was left in the mailbox for her to take. To me, this is unacceptable!

FIVE times in the last 2 months packages that were to be delivered never made it here. I've already had to contact 4 of the shippers for refunds but I'm really getting annoyed with this. The last one was just today; Not an outsider because at the time they claimed to have delivered I was actually sitting on my porch drinking coffee. Should I be filing some official complaint because I 'm starting to worry about one of your employees is a thief.

I never get my mail before 6pm , usually between 7 and 8 pm . I am a superintendent at a building which is less than 100 yards from the post office itself . There was no mail delivery on Saturday ( not the first time) , then none on Monday. I personally went to the post office only to find out that the building key was not in the post office installed lock box that they have the only key for . If I had not gone to the post office myself who knows how long it would have been before 17 received their mail . This is unacceptable and inexcusable. This is not the first time either . I have dealt with many post offices in my life and Bloomfield is by far the worst.
