I have repeatedly contacted my post office about weekend packages being delivered to the unused back porch of our home or under the gutter spout in the driveway. We have a main sidewalk that leads to not one but 2 front doors. I have been assured each time that "it's a new person and it will be written down. It won't happen again. I have gone so far as complain to the USPS itself. Yet today--again--the delivered parked out behind our house and went to put the package on the back porch which by the way is falling apart. My sister happened to see her pull in while outside and specified that the packages were not to go out back and received a dirty look. I am tired of this. I do not pay to get packages shipped on weekends to have to search and guess as to where they are delivered. Or have them ruined by water pouring out of the gutter. I am disappointed my local post office cannot handle hiring someone that can follow the simple direction of deliver to the front door or handle informing that deliverer to do so after numerous phone calls. My regular mail carrier is amazing! So obviously there is some disconnect that needs to be fixed.
