My package was left on the porch at my apartment. My apartment is not in a safe or low crime area. I receive packages all the time because I do 90% of my shopping online most fit in the box but most of the time I'm home not this time. When I called and spoke to the Lady who was driving that day she was very nice and she remember me but told me she remember leaving it at the door but didn't ring the doorbell and she apologize, told me to leave a note on the door for them not to leave packages. My question"if my mail box is locked why would you leave a package at the door. This just doesn't seem fair she just gave me a "Oops you just lost your package and money better luck next time your fault for not having a note to tell us how to do our job." I'm still trying to speak to someone over her head, I don't want to get her in trouble but something has to be done to make it right. This is the second problem I've had in the last 6 or 8 months. I also made a police report. :( NOT HAPPY

That's really unfortunate.  Maybe you could get your apartment or USPS to get the locked mailboxes for your packages.  At my condo, they simply lock the package in one of those boxes, then and leave a key to it in your mailbox.  Good luck!
