We have returned several packages through this post office. I always explain that I have no printer and the clerk always scans the bar code photo on my cell and prints out the shipping label. Today the clerk argued me down that I had to print my own label. I told him I didn’t have a printer. He wasn’t going to help. Finally he told me to go to the public library and they would print it for me. ??? Someone needs more training or another line of work!!!
I’m tired of not receiving mail from this post office. I thought at first they were just understaffed. Then I talked to several people there, and the more you call the worse the service gets! I don’t even get mail in my name anymore! I’m forced to get a PO Box at a completely different post office!😡
To Whom It May Concern:
I have been waiting for approx. 20 days to receive a very urgent letter-size, unmarked envelope that was mailed out to me on August 31, 2021. I was told from the get-go that it might take 8-10 business days to arrive. IT HAS BEEN 20! This is not the first time (and I’m sure the last) that a letter and/or package was not delivered to me in a timely manner. I have lived at this address for 4 years. Come on people! Surely you recognize my name or my address by now. I will personally stop by the Swansboro Post Office Saturday morning, 09/18/21 and expect someone to be available to search for this envelope. This is mission critical!!!

Wow....someone in that office REEKS of marijuana!!! How can the supervisors not smell it inside a building??? Who and where is the post master of this office? I didn't know it was ok to smoke pot while on the job, but I guess this office must have Cheech and Chong working there.
This is the worst post office I have experienced! The desk clerk is arrogant and rude; the field delivery staff is incompetent. I am changing my delivery location so that I do not have to be around such lazy and incompetent "service of the people" again.
They behave as if it is an inconvenience to provide service to customers!
I am a US Marine and my family and I just moved here. We had an initial problem getting packages delivered and my wife stopped by the Swansboro office this morning to clarify. I am glad I was not there. When my wife inquired about the packages, Omar, the postal employee behind the desk, began to yell at my wife that she had no idea what she was talking about, and how he has people asking questions like this 1500 times a day. After fighting back tears, he finally went in back to look for our packages, which were in fact there. He informed her about this by yelling "you better have a big damn truck lady, there are like 10 packages here".
This needs to be dealt with professionally, not by me going over to the post office and confronting this individual. Please contact me with questions.

1- I give up trying all your sites to get cost of the smallest PO Box without needing to sign up to open or renew one. Seems that info could be online and have a link to the purchase or renew page. Guess I'll have to ask at the post office during open hours.
2- Your Swansboro hours indicate that the lobby is closed at midnight (which is 12 a.m.). It should say open 12:00 a.m. - 11:59 p.m.
Terrible Customer Service by OMAR. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! I've lived here for years and out of convenience, I go to the Swansboro Post Office but now, ITS WORTH THE DRIVE TO THE HUBERT POST OFFICE!
I totally agree. They are rude and do not even try to help. I changed my address 3 weeks ago to a PO box at the post office and they have yet to forward my mail.
