This Post Office is Over Charging for box rentals. Box rental rates posted in the lobby are way off and misleading. Rates have doubled in the last 2 yrs. I have brought it to their attention numerous times, nothing has changed. Mail is not put in PO Boxes daily. PO Boxes are full of Junk Mail weekly. Junk Mail should not be in PO Boxes. We pay rent for these boxes unlike mail delivered to residences for free. Remove the Junk Mail from PO Boxes. Stop overcharging for PO Boxes. Reassign the manager of this branch of the Post Office for retraining. This branch has gone downhill in the last 2 yrs. I have had great experiences at this branch up until 2 yrs ago. Manager must go.
The people at this office, don't care if you get your mail or not. I have been looking for some mail From May. No notice in the mail box that it came or not . I have too call the rental office each day to ask if I it came. and when I call the post office no one answers the phone. and this is not the 1st time having a problem with this office. DON'T CARE IF YOU GET YOUR MAIL OR NOT
For many years I've had good experiences with the Mint Hill Post Office as well as with the employees, however over the past year I have had some concerns. One in particular I wished I had addressed earlier. I won't get into all of them here but will mention the latest issues of: (1) outgoing lost mail (2) and mail taking an exceptionally long time to arrive to Mint Hill from Matthews. Does anyone know if our area has experienced a circumstance that would cause the above? Thank you.
Instructions for renting a post office box list options for personal identification. However, once we got to post office, the worker pulled out a different list of criteria for identification. Why doesn't PO box application match the enforced criteria?
Does any one know how to file a complaint about their mail carrier? We have had the same carrier for years and never had a problem. We now have a new carrier and we get our packages left on the garbage can, rubber banded to the mailbox in inclement weather, etc.
I should have listened to all the other Google reviews about the Mint Hill post office. At the busiest part of the day (lunch period), this USPS only had one cashier available. I waited in line for 30 minutes to return a package. Right at the moment when there was only one person in front of me, the manager (at least I think that's who he was) came up to me and said that I would have to get out of line and purchase a roll of tape just to close the top of my small box. I have NEVER purchased tape just to secure the top of boxes at USPS. Each one that I have ever visited since I was a child always provide a small piece of tape EVEN if my box was already taped closed. So not only did I waste my lunch hour on this minor errand, I also had to return back to my office with this package just because he refused to give me a piece of tape. I was furious and I swear I will never return to this location. The staff here are inconsiderate and thoughtless, certainly not a representation of the USPS customer service I have experience since childhood.
I agree The staff at this location are very dry and no customer service skills no compassion for the customers. I missed my passport appointment and I asked the lady could she squeeze me in but she didn't even look at me when she responded
