I have requested numerous times to hold my mail on specific dates. I had them hold my mail in October and when I went to pick it up they said there wasn't any on hold. In December I had them hold my mail for three weeks because I was going out of town. I was notified by my neighbor that they were delivering my mail daily. Fortunately I have a good neighbor and he collected my mail daily and gave it all to me when I returned home in January. I went to the post office to see if they had any of my mail on hold. They came back to me with a few days of held mail, When I got home and opened my mail it was from last October.

Today is 12/14 and we as well as many neighbors have not received mail since 12/11. You can not report this on the USPS website. I have tried calling the Huntersville location to report this situation and got no answer after ten calls from 9-12:30. The sad thing is that no one cares.

USPS deserves to go out of business! Amazon delivery is seamless. USPS won’t levee packages and won’t re-deliver no matter how long you wait. Don’t even try to contact them by phone because I just waisted an hour sitting on my phone. What a joke. This is how useless government funded institution is!!! Amazon needs to have an option to never deliver USPS because it’s not with the hassle!!!

The Huntersville NC post office is the worst I've ever used. The agents are rude and will not lift a finger to help you. They really don't care. The boxes are always filled to capacity with stuff falling out. The lobby machine never works correct. I got the wrong things out of the machine, had my receipt and they refused to fix it. I had to drive to Cornelius post office to get it handled.

Dear, in November I received an open letter in my mail box which it contains a check with a small amount. And yesterday I saw the post office employee let three letters in my mail box, but hours later when I wanted to pick it up there was nothing in mail box that was open. So someone is checking my post mails and had been stolen any.

I mailed a package in Kingsport TN 2-day priority on Monday 5/18. It arrived at the Mid Carolina-Charlotte distribution center on May 19 at 9:26 AM. Two days later, May 21, it was marked as moving in the system. It was marked as having left that center on May 23 at 6:42 pm and arriving at Huntersville on May 24at 10:36 am. WHERE WAS THIS PRIORITY MAIL FOR TWO DAYS IN THE CHARLOTTE DISTRIBUTION CENTER??? And now, I am promised delivery on Tuesday May 26!!! What kind of PRIORITY is this?? In the meantime, I filed a complaint and even received an e-mail from Priscilla MCaulley on Friday, May 22, stating that she would work with me to resolve this problem. Where is Priscilla??? My package that was due for delivery this past Thursday, May 21 is parked in the Huntersville PO and handled as ordinary mail, not as priority. Holiday or not on Monday, May 24, the package should have been delivered as soon as it arrived in Huntersville.

Agreed. The postmaster general needs to get off his duff and investigate the mid-Carolina distribution center. The process is seriously broken there. It has become the black hole of the NC mail system. I have had packages sit there for weeks on end before ultimately being delivered or declared lost. The government couldn’t even run Mustang Ranch and make a profit. The USPS is just another example of incompetence rewarded. No accountability so screw the taxpayer.

If I could post pictures here, I would. I received a package of school photos today and the envelope (luckily thick cardboard) looked like it had been dropped in a mud puddle. This is the THIRD time I received photos in the mail and they were damaged. The first 2 times, the package was bent to fit ino the mailbox, leaving a crease down the middle of the photos... TWICE! This is unacceptable. The staff needs to be trained better and told to have some consideration for others' property. Disgraceful. I have yet to have a reason to compliment this post office...
