I reviewed a tracking notification that a package was delivered and received by the Ballentyne Post Office location on 1/11/19 at 11:15am. I visited this location on 1/15/19 and waited in line for 40 minutes. The elderly man in front of me was greeted by the Postal representative in a rude and unapproachable manner. Her tone was harsh. She then called me to her station and I gave her my trCking number and showed her the email showing it was received there. She took the number and left. 5 minutes later she returned stating that she could not find it. I asked what the next steps would be. She said in a rude dismissive tone, “give me your number. I’ll look for it when I have time”; next person”.
I was shocked at the level of customer service provided. I do not mind waiting in line and understand the volume of customers, but the level of customer service and effort provided was very poor.
RUDE, NON-PROFESSIONAL, UNORGANIZED,UNACCOUNTABLE, these describe the Ballantyne post office. They are very dismissive when it comes to mistakes made by them. This branch seem to have a real personnel issue. Are they not supervised by someone? Very erratic delivery, damaged packages, packages delivered to the wrong address happens very often.
I agree completely!! We kept getting neighboring business's mails and they kept getting ours. Our complex manager complained to the USPS before but not much has improved.
Today (August 29, 2018) we received 3 pieces of mails postmarked JUly 3, 5, & 6! We almost pissed off a customer by not honoring their reorders because we did not receive their payment check, which was one of the above 3 pieces of mail!
