We live in SE and have the best mail delivery ever! He is always upbeat and friendly, these dedicated people deliver late at night and all weekend, which I feel is not necessary. I wish they had their weekends off like us. Please appreciate all they do!

I have been dissatisfied with the post office for a few years now, but have realized the real staffing issues that have been facing everyone. Today was a new low, I had a package delivered that was 24" by 20" that I watched the mailman throw in the road/ditch in front of my mailbox instead of delivering it to my porch. I have had them throw packages from their vehicle in my driveway and sidewalk and did not complain, but the absolute laziness of this individual was unbelievable. I did try to call the post office, but as many others have shared in other comments, they never answer the phone, it rings and says you are being transferred to the operator and after 3 minutes in just hangs up, I tried this repeatedly, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that the first time was a mistake, nope. I am just disgusted that service no longer seems to matter and no one is held accountable.

Lately, I'm lucky if the mail person even shows up. And the helpful folks at the Bear Creek office won't even answer the phone. They will, however, quickly pick it uo to stop it from ringing, and then immediately hang it up. My tax dollars at work. Yay.

Where is our mail ? No mail has been delivered to the Stonehenge area in NE Rochester for at least 3 days . The past 6 weeks or so our mail hasn’t been delivered on a regular basis. When delivered its often to the wrong person. Bills and medication are not being delivered. What the heck is going on ? This is totally unacceptable.

I live at 1523 Northern Heights Drive NE. About a week ago we got our neighbor's mail, my husband was able to catch the mail carrier and returned it to him. The other day, a neighbor who lives only two doors away came with a whole bunch of our mail, a prescription, birthday cards and a check. All the addresses were clearly legible. Doesn't the mail carrier look at the address before he puts it in the mail box? There needs to be a review of the mail carriers.

I'm not a mail delivery person. If you think the mail carrier people are doing such a bad job. You do it. If you can do a better job then do it. Before you start complaining walk in their shoes for week and then you've gained the right to complain.

Mail delivery in our neighborhood has been pretty awful in the past few weeks. My has been ended up in my neighborhoods box. I’m talking down the road neighbors, not just next door. My neighbor is a business owner and has his payments sent to him via mail and he’s been missing checks.

This is to let to whom it may concern, I am very displeased with the way my mail has been handled, especially with the courier who delivered a package on 7-20-2020 he carelessly put in my package, which was in a plastic bag in my mailbox and by shoving it in it caught in a crack which tore my shirt, and I had to file a complaint with the supervisor which had him come out and release my shirt, bu the damage has already been done. When I confronted the courier he was rude and would not own up to what he had done. So now I have to have the sender contact the post office and file a complaint in order to get this matter resolved, I am left with a torn specialty shirt due to the couriers carelessness. needless to say I am very disappointed in this postal service!

A mail truck stopped at our box this noon and placed a broken jar with liquid content into the mail box and drove off. The jar was broken to shards and the contents were soaking the packaging. A package in that condition should never have been placed in our box, - or do you want me to put it in there with the flag up, with 'return to sender'?

AFTER DEFENDING THE USPS TO FRIENDS AND CUSTOMERS FOR OVER 40 YEARS. MY BUSINESS INVOLVED SENDING AND RECEIVING Thousands of HIGH VALUE REGISTERED PACKAGES THROUGHOUT THE STATES. THERE WAS ONLY ONE LOSS. QUITE IMPRESSIVE! TODAY WHEN I RETURNED FROM PICKING UP MY MAIL THAT WASNT DELIVERED BECAUSE OF SNOW I FOUND ANOTHER PERSONS MAIL MIXED IN WITH MINE WHEN I GOT HOME. WHEN I CONTACTED A POSTAL EMPLOYEE AT THAT LOCATION TO ASK WHAT THE PROCEDURE WAS I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO RETURN IT TO THE POST OFFICE. THEN LECTURED BY THAT EMPLOYEE THAT I HAD TO MAKE MY MAIL BOX ACCESSIBLE BY THE USP DELIVERY PERSON OR AFTER MONDAY IT WOULD BE RETURNED TO SENDER. THIS FEB. WAS A SNOW RECORD YEAR HERE IN MINNESOTA. PLENTY OF PEOPLE COULDNT MANAGE TO GET THE ACCESS EXACTLY PERFECT. I WILL SAY THIS THE 3 NEWSPAPERS I SUBSCRIBE TO HAVE BEEN PUT IN THE SPACE BELOW THE BOX EVERY DAY. IT WOULD TAKE A MAXIMUM OF 30 SECONDS FOR THE DELIVERER TO DO THE SAME. IT TAKES THE PERSON IN THE PO BETWEEN 2 AND 5 MINUTES TO RETRIEVE MY MAIL WHEN I GO TO PICK IT UP. TO ME AS A RETIRED BUSINESS MAN THIS IS A FOOLISH USE OF MANPOWER. BECAUSE THIS WAS AN UNUSUAL WINTER SNOW PLOW OPERATORS AND OTHER PUBLIC SERVANTS HAVE HAD TO WORK POENTY OF OVERTIME. WHAT MAKES A MAILMAN SO INFLEXIBLE AND SPECIAL? INFACT SEVERAL DAYS AGO OUR MAILMAN DELIVERED TO OUR DOOR A LARGE PRIORITY MAIL PACKAGE. WHEN I ASKED IF HE HAD ANY MAIL FOR US HE SAID IT WAS IN THE TRUCK. I WAS ASTONISHED THAT HE DIDNT AND WOULDNT BRING THE FEW LETTERS WITH HIM TOO. I GOT THE IMPRESSION HE WAS DOING THE ABSOLUTE MINIMUM HIS JOB REQUIRED. IF HE HAD BEEN AN EMPLOYEE OF MINE WHEN I WAS IN BUSINESS I WOULD HAVE FIRED HIM ON THE SPOT. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE USPS HAS BEEN VERY UNPLEASANT.

Horrible service!! It is Wednesday and I literally watched my postal delivery person place mail into my mail box, remove it and go down the road. The issue is there has not been a single piece of mail in my mailbox all week long! Not even advertisements. I have been told by utility companies and other people I do business both that they have all sent me mail in the last few weeks and there has not been anything! Why is my mail not being placed into my box? I do business from home and I have been waiting for weeks for a few items now and still nothing! Can the carrier be reprimanded or something? My address is 3002 Rose Dr SE

Our mail on Saturday, May 6 was stuffed so hard into the mail box (a live plant) that my husband almost gave up trying to get it out. He also scratched his fingers while doing so, which is not a good thing for someone who has diabetes. The carrier during the week is the most perfect carrier we could wish for.

We have a new driver since our old driver retired...Our old driver Ken we had 10 years, never had ONE issue, now we have a new lady BARB and she is HORRIBLE...we get packages delivered to the wrong houses, I run an at home business and she had miss delivered over 5 packages total 3 within the past month.. WE WANT a competent driver who is careful and knows how to deliver mail to the correct address. Is that too much to ask?

Had a great experience at the Post Office today. I was trying to buy 2 Money Orders, and neither of my debit cards would work right. One ran as credit... and paid the $2.80 of fees, but I was unable to get the money orders. Tim was unable to get the computer to refund the fee, so he refunded me $3.00 out of his pocket and said he'd sort it out with the computer later. He worked hard to keep the customer (me) happy. Great Customer Relations!
