I got a post office box so that I can as the ad says have a second place for my mail to be secure and accessible at my convenience. But unfortunately is not available and my convenience is available from 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday and on Saturdays until three in the afternoon and not available at all on Sundays.

My daughter and I have both called numerous times to get the lock fixed on her mailbox in upper North Mankato I talk to a gentleman finally last Friday who assured me they’re on their way out to fix her box immediately because she is a work at home single mom with three autistic children She can’t stand out there and wait for the mail person to show up to get her mail every day they have numerous times promised to fix this and yet here we are right before Christmas. She cannot access any of the mail order gifts for her children because again she’s a stay at home mom she’s completely dependent on the post office , and yet we can’t get a simple lock fixed on a mailbox nor will the mailman and I say that facetiously deliver the mail to her home no, my understanding is that this is a federal job and that the mail must be delivered legally to each person each day now if I am wrong about that, I apologize, but I have even tried calling the main post office, and Mankato and that phone just rings and rings and rings. Nobody answers. There’s no answering machine , the United States post office is completely understaffed and does not answer their phones nor do they service their customers properly. I am just completely at my wits end as to where to go with this!

Been tracking a package that supposedly received last Thursday and I can see that it’s back and forth in Mankato but not send to my address in Saint Clair. Don’t want to loose it, need an answer. Been calling the office in Mankato with no one answering the phones

This morning, June 8, I mailed two letters in the mailbox up on Star Street. I accidently mailed my old car registration card for my former car a 1951 Mercury. I was taking the card to a friend of mine to see if the car was still being used as a classic. I have a lot of sentimental feelings for this car and that card was my last connection. If the card shows up, please forward it to me at 1700 Quail Roost Drive in North Mankato. Thanks so much. Dennis Wahlstrom

What is the holdup on finishing the parking lot outside?? It is so hard for seniors or people with physical disabilities to try to pickup their mail for the last 2 months!! Thinking of moving my po box elsewhere.

This is just wrong you send a package from Mankato to Tucson on 2/17/21. Went to St Paul says it got there on the 18th. Today is 2/25/21 and still in St Paul. No one answers the phone. Can’t get help. Have a tracking number. Your service is bull s—-!

Went in and stood in a long line, which in December is expected. When I got to the clerk she looked at my bubble wrap envelopes and said they would cost $4 or more and whatever is in them would break. Emphatically asked me if I understood. I said you made it clear enough, thank you and walked out. She said you don't want to mail them? I said not through you. I went to another usps place and each one was either a bit over $1.50 or a bit under.

Sent a payment in and the company never received it. We never received it back so where did the letter go? Did the mail carrier loose it? Is it sitting in his truck somewhere? Please have the mail carriers clean out their mail trucks every so often to find lost mail.....

I was sitting outside with my dog when the mail man came to the mailbox. He had saw my dog threw my mail at my dog then used and air horn which had started my dog to the point he didn't want to come to me followed by the mail man telling me to keep my dumb aggressive dog on a leash even if I have a training collar on him which has shock, vibration, and sound. I think this was uncalled.

Literally tried 12 times to call the main post office in Mankato, MN and got “user busy” each time during 44 minute time span. Since it’s the end of February and not near any holiday, the “high call volume” excuse should not even be attempted. Whomever the early evening lobby person is should be let go. He can talk to friends or order takeout on his own time. Pathetic!

Called the downtown Mankato branch to ask if the mail had been delivered yet? Talked to Dave, who put me “on hold” to find out the answer, which would be fine. Just not sure it took him 17 minutes and 38 seconds to locate that answer. I wasn’t on a quest for the true meaning of life, just whether the mail had been delivered yet. By the way, this was on a cold, yet sunny day when it hadn’t snowed for over a day. I guess that’s what they call “unaccountable.”
