Postal Locations

Went to this location at 9:15am on 3-12. No post office personnel working the lobby. Supposed to open at 9am. Lots of angry people heading to UPS from here.

When they say they are open Retail Hours until 6:00pm M-F don't believe it. Today they were closed tighter than a virgins ### by 5:30pm. 02/05/15

The Union Lake post office on Cooley Lake Road is typical of many in our Waterford area. Folks appear to be hired based on something other than either skill or customer service aptitudes. While some work extra hard to make up for the slow counter help, the post master appears unable to make basic improvements. Drop boxes are almost always jammed, counters fill with packages while counter personnel just watch them build up, and the phone rings without being answered. Apparently she does not have the knowledge that a private firm manager would have to place a phone on an extension cord so it can be answered during normal business hours. The post office is a great place to work if you want high pay without having to use your brain. Instead of trying to locate a working post office we will use FedEx instead moving forward.
