I want to thank supervisor Janet and our carrier Chuck for searching for my missing package and personally delivering it to my hands today after delivering his route and returning to the post office. Chuck waves when I am out walking and reminds me of our mail persons from years ago. Kudos!

Your staff face many challenges and are often the brunt of criticism for things beyond your control. I want to say thank you for the courtesy and kindness shown to me by Chong, one of your agents. Please convey my appreciation to her. She represented your business very well!!

Today we visited the post office to process the passport for our minor child. Nowhere in the application form was it mentioned that we needed to bring the original birth certificate. We had a copy with us and was serviced by a lady named Linda. What we experienced was sheer unprofessionalism. She was rude and said that she cannot process the passport without the original and when we had to go back to the car to get the form that did not specify that, she was talking trash about how these people(referring to our ethnicity) came unprepared. Being a citizen of this country and a Mi tax paying resident for 25 yrs, what we went through was a sad display of racism and unprofessionalism.

I have been calling for 6 days trying to get through with no answer, no voicemail, no customer support. I just get hung up on. I understand they may be understaffed but the workers at the Rochester Post office need to get this figured out and whoever is managing this location should be fired! The manager's extreme lack of customer service is absolutely ridiculous and they are probably not qualified to be in their position!

I mailed a package on 12-1-2020. Paid over $17 to make sure it reached its destination. It left the Rochester facility and disappeared into oblivion. How long do I have to wait until I file a lost in transit claim?

Was just at the Rochester location. Sign on door says masks required and 10 people maximum. There were at least 15 people in there and one man with no mask who stood close to people and then started shouting his instructions to the woman behind the counter. I left but your employees can’t. You need to enforce public safety for the people who work there.

Had mail on hold for a week. At end of week mail service was resumed but held mail not delivered. I called 1800 number and that just resulted in screaming match at stupid computer who wanted to connect me to Agent for stamps? I then found PO number at Rochester. That was a recording for non answering operator and busy signal. Out to lunch. Our carrier is usually great the substitute drivers get addresses wrong. Hopefully our mail is not in someone else’s hold box! No wonder the service is down in the dumps

When I went to the Rochester post office to pick up my mail that was being held, there was a man in line complaining that there were only two people working the front desk. When he finally got waited on, he asked why there weren’t more people waiting on customers. He was told that the workers could not be forced to work the front desk and many of them refused to work it. I couldn’t believe it, but I heard her say it myself. This is ridiculous. Who runs a business like that?

I left work early to pick up my held mail after my vacation yesterday, only to be told that it was not there to pick up. I was told that it would be delivered to my house that day. It was not delivered that day. Today I called the above number and found that the mailbox is full. I called the 800 number and now have to wait up to an hour for someone to call me back. Where is my mail?

I am VERY disappointed about the phone system to the post offices. I am a handicapped senior citizen and wanted to talk about the mail delivery. However, when calling all I get is the statement that "the mail box/phone system is full. Try and call again. Each time I've done this, I get the message. Someone needs to answer those messages so we can talk to someone!!

Monday, 12/9. At 10 am the second outside mail box is completely full and things will fall out or be able to be removed by unauthorized people. It needs to be emptied immediately -- not wait until 5 pm. It is Christmas -- probably the busiest time of year for the Post Office. You should plan and empty the box more often. Also, can't get through on phone; local number mailbox is full and 800 doesn't allow you to speak to anyone.

This post office does not respond to telephone calls. They answer with a recording, then transfer to operator who does not answer, then the ring tone rings awhile then changes to a busy signal. Extremely aggravating when I need to track a package!! Extremely lazy and irresponsible of them! Rude to be hanging up on people by design!

I’ve been living in my apartment for 2 years, and every time I get my mail I have to walk through my building giving mail that was put into my mailbox to the correct recipient (not my job). Last year I got someone else’s tax return. I’ve been hoping that my mail has not been falling into other people’s hands but today I got proof that it has been happening. I don’t understand how someone can get away with putting important mail in the wrong mailbox for 2 years.

I purchased an item on amazon using my prime account for which i pay extra to receive expedited and sometimes free shipping. Amazon advertised this item to be delivered on Saturday 2/4. On Monday 2/6, i received a pink slip because the item was too heavy. I had to pick the item up from the rochester post office. I have a bit of an issue for several reasons. First, the late delivery is not what was advertised. Second, it was not advertised that i would have to pick it up. Third, the item was 54.5 lbs and postal workers are supposed to be able to handle packages up to 75 lbs. a hand truck could have been used. Besides, i was home and no attempt was made to deliver it. Im sure it was just left at the post office. I would have taken it off the truck myself. The point i am making is the distinct difference in customer service between your competitors and what the USPS provides. UPS and Fedex present a hard working attitude and seem to go above and beyond while the USPS leaves the impression that the customer has to do a bit of the work. if the USPS was not federally protected, it would be out of business due to the inability to compete with other shipping companies in customer service alone. Who really needs first class mail? Anything of importance gets sent via fedex or done electronically. Its a shame because i know people that are USPS employees and i fear its just a matter of time before they lose their jobs because the USPS retains antiquated procedures and fails to keep up with the times. Every time i deal with the post office, standing in line, picking up packages, stamps, letter carriers that think hey have authority to enforce rules over the customer, it feels like 1970.

I received a nasty pink post card in my PO box informing me that a package had not been picked up and that it would be shipped back to the sender. I have been checking for this order of two towels since mid December. Surely it could fit a PO box, but there has not even been a key referring me to one of the oversized special boxes. I really don't care for the high-handed manner.

Marie called up on Friday Dec. 16, informing us that a package came in with an incomplete address. She asked us to call back that day. We called and called and called with no answer. Because I didn't get off work till after she called, I went in on Saturday to retrieve my package. Marie informed me that "SINCE YOU DIDN'T CALL BACK. I SENT PACKAGE BACK. OVERSEAS!!!" I told her we had called and called and called with no answer. 248-601-1024. She said she had. Too many packages and because we didn't show up THE SAME DAY SHE CALLED, she shipped it back. Isn't there a hold time ?!?!?!?!?! So much for a Merry Christmas for that person to receive that gift. Unbelieveable!

I would like to lodge a complaint. I have a photo of my mail I received today I wish I could share with you. The picture depicts what my mail looks like on all too many occasions. The mail has been jammed into the box with total disregard. The box was empty prior to getting this mail, so there is no excuse that the box had previous mail included. To the best of my knowledge I have never had any prior conversations with the mail carrier that would cause them to do this to my mail. I ask that you look into this matter and resolve this issue. A little respect goes a long way.

Why was there a mail truck on Trailwoods Drive in Meadowbrook Hills Condo. on 11/13/2016 @ 11:30am? Are you delivering mail on Sunday now? I've also noticed lately during the week the mail keeps coming later and later, sometimes not until 7:00pm. Is this normal?

I live in Rochester Hills off of Rochester Road and I am constantly receiving a different addresses mail in my mailbox. And I have been expecting mail that the sender confirmed they sent and I am not receiving it. I have checks coming in from a Business and I am not getting them or they are being sent back to sender. I pray to GOD the checks aren't being placed in someone else's mailbox. I've tried calling the post office and no one answers the phone. HELP!

We live on Livernois Road in Oakland Twp., Mi. We have a terrible mail carrier on Mondays....she is L*A*Z*Y ! Yesterday Amazon sent me a notice of apology to say that the USPS service "attempted" to deliver my package ...... B.S. ! We live on a long driveway that is quite drive able but she sat at the bottom of the driveway honking her horn ... Could not be bothered to do her job & drive up the driveway......I could not make it down the driveway & she took off leaving no "attempt to deliver" note as Amazon was informed! Why would you have someone like this working for you? What terrible government service ....... This is summer NOT winter ... Which I could forgive a winter delivery ...... But shame on this black woman, she is pathetic as she has done this before.

I mailed an item from Timonium, MD to an address in Commerce Township and paid $35.45 for delivery today, 2/15/16. I tracked the item and received email update which stated it was "available for pick-up" and that there was a revised delivery date of tomorrow, 2/16. This PO is an hour away from the address the item was supposed to have been delivered to. This sort of imcompetence is why the USPS is losing businness. I contemplated FedEx, but they were more expensive. However, I guess you get what you pay for. I got incompetence and the non-delivery of an important package on the date it was supposed to be delivered on. I'll never use the USPS again for something like this.

We live in Rochester hills michigan and I believe the mail person has not been delivering our mail. Today I can confirm this because I was expecting a package and have been waiting all day for it. I just checked for the 10th time today on the postal tracker and it said delivery was attempted and they left a notice. NO delivery was attempted as we have been waiting here ALL DAY and no notice was left! I want to report whoever this mail person is since they obviously aren't doing their job.

I ordered a package and according to the online tracking it was "attempted to be delivered" at a time that i was home waiting for my package. They didn't attempt to come to my front door or drop it off. I am not please with this location and how they deliver things to their customers. (this is not the first time this has happened to me)
