Disgusted with the homophobic and classist attitude given to me by a Karen at this store, who said it was unbelievable and baffling that I had incorrectly labeled my package due to dyslexia. This attitude was quite surprising to me and my girlfriend as it couldn’t have been reactionary- we were literally asking for help, which made it feel like a homophobic encounter. She continued this fascinating conversation by asking “havent you ever written a letter to santa before?” and requesting I move from her sight to re-address, with nobody in the lobby. Karen then called me a drug dealer because of the leaf on my shirt and suggested I pay priority because I likely “make more than her”. What got me piqued was that she continued to insult us and our mental capacity (continuously saying “it’s baffling to me, unbelievable”), after we had walked away, which was when I finally had the audacity to say “well you’re coming off as a b****”- to which the office finally became quiet. I don’t speak this way to elders, or federal employees, but some situations call for a backbone. The supervisor continued the checkout process and apologized on her coworker’s behalf. The degree of crude behavior we experienced made this response feel lackluster- we had no apology from the disgruntled employee who returned to her cave in the back room, where the supervisor had called her from when the lobby was again busy. I am a college educated, grown woman who lived alone in Chicago and never received such harassment before. Formal complaints will be filed on all channels, and I will be returning for Karen’s given name to ensure via the postmaster that federal employees cannot continue with this unnecessarily crude, derogatory approach. In a diverse, legal state I cannot fathom what culture fosters these major ethical problems, but unfortunately for this location I have the time this week to figure out why this treatment is happening minutes from my home and ensure others don’t have this terrible experience.

I don’t think I can trust the Northville Post Office ever again to hold my mail. It was delivered the entire 10 days that I submitted it to be held. I called and spoke to somebody at the post office twice and even got a confirmation number. I feel helpless!!!!

Is mail still being delivered around here? I placed a hold on my mail during the week of July 5th to resume on Saturday July 11th. Today is now July 15th and I still have NOT received my mail. I know that I have mail waiting because I signed up for the USPS Dashboard service that emails me a picture of my incoming mail. I’m not sure what is going with this post office. Sometimes my mail is already here when I get home from work, other days I don’t see the mail carrier until around 6p or 6:30p. There have also been a few times that the mail was delivered AFTER 8 PM! Just ridiculous.

Two weeks ago Saturday, I received an email message from our carrier who said my package was delivered at our mailbox. My husband went out to get it along with the mail...NO PACKAGE was in the mailbox. I called the Northville P.O. on the following Monday and talked to Keisha. She said the carriers were out, and she would call me back tomorrow after speaking to him. NO CALL BACK! I called again the next day, Tuesday, Keisha again told me the carriers are out, and she would call me back...NO CALL BACK! The third time I called...NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE! This is ridiculous!!! Yesterday, I received another email from our carrier saying my packages (two different ones from the above situation) were delivered at the mailbox. RIGHT!!! NO PACKAGES!!! A while later a neighbor from the street around the corner in Stonewater came over with my two packages which were left at HIS mailbox. The only similarity in our addresses were the last 3 digits of our house numbers. The street was totally different! I don't know where the post office gets their employees, but they just don't care! I've delivered misdelivered mail to that same neighbor many times before too. I cannot understand what the carrier is reading on the mail. The last 3 digits is all he seems to see of our addresses at times. The original package I spoke about above never arrived. Apparently, whoever received my package decided to just keep my $78 worth of Ulta hair products (large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and hair spray)...very neighborly of them! We are really getting fed up with the service of the Northville Post Office. It doesn't appear there is anything we can do about it either. I had no choice but to call Ulta with my story. They VERY KINDLY refunded my money even though it was not at all their mistake. I then reordered from Ulta for curbside pickup. Had I known they were open for curbside pick up, I never would have ordered on line. The elderly woman who works at the counter of the Northville Post Office is also very rude! I think they ought to fire their incompetent and rude employees and start from scratch. This is the worst service we've ever received from any post office we've been associated with.

Sent a mask regular mail, never was delivered. Sent one 2 day priority mail, it left the Detroit Distribution facility 3 days ago! Northville is using Covid19 excuses to not do their job. Everyone else seems to be able to deliver on time! Northville post office needs offsite monitoring!

Our latest mailman for Stonewater subdivision has a horrendous oil leak from his car and is continuing to contaminate the streets into an unsightly mess, with spots in front of each mailbox. In addition, he has pulled into my driveway on three occasions to deliver packages and has made my driveway a mess as well. You need to get him to repair his vehicle or find a different car, as he is single-handedly degrading our property values.

I don't think i'v received a package on time from this usps branch in over a year, and that's IF the package even gets delivered in the first place. At least 2 of my packages have been "lost" by this branch costing me over $70. Even right now, I was waiting on an order that is supposed to have been out for delivery today, and it has yet to show up. Get it together Northville, or i'll start exclusively using FEDEX and UPS.

I was tracking my package as I was going out of town and this was a gift. Checked my mailbox at 5:00 ( I live in an apartment) No package as promised from where I bought it from even tho it stated it was delivered to the Northville post office and was out for delivery. At 8:00 pm I recvd an email stating the package was delivered. Yay! NO PACKAGE WAS IN MY MAILBOX nor around Of course they were now closed. At the airport the next day, I tried to get ahold of them, closed. Monday I got ahold of Keisha ( stated she was a supervisor) after repeating my tracking number 4 times she told me it was delivered to my address at 5:00 pm Friday. Ummmm NO THIS IS WHY IM CALLING She states the carrier was off on Monday, she would call me on Tuesday. After I phone call, I called there and spoke with post master Cheryl who said Keisha was very busy & out of the building but she assured me she would call me back. Here it is Wednesday at 1:30 pm & still no phone call. Cheryl stated she thinks it was delivered to another street name in my complex. Ya think? I asked what will happen if my package is lost.... who will reimburse me???? I'm not screwing the company who on good faith packaged it and sent it out. Of course that question too, never got answers. I want my money from them so I can get the gifts I ordered or my package. Too much to ask ? A phone call to keep me updated would be common courtesy also !

Cherly Bicks is racist and confrontational without provocation. She did not follow clearly stated policy and noted "problems in Northville" as to her reasoning. Public service individuals, such as myself, should always be aware of who they work for and if they are unable to serve the public equally, they should not hold their post. She should be discharged.

The service from the Northville Post Office is the worst that I have ever experience. I have been waiting for a package to be delivered. The package actually reached this branch and then they sent it off to Waterford! That was 6 days ago and they have still not delivered the package. For everything else I avoid using this branch. Looks like I will route delivery in the future to an address outside of Northville so that my packages will be delivered and delivered timely.

Absolutely unacceptable service from clerks that do not want to be there. Post Mistress is Cheryl Bicks, not in today and she will hear from me tomorrow. I will post who her supervisor is in next review.
